A perfect stay in Metz

We had a perfect stay on the big orange houseboat from Gill. The boat have all necessary things on it and it's very beautiful. Unfortunately we booked only one night. The next stay will be longer.

What a great place to stay!

We loved staying on the big orange barge! It was cute and fun and peaceful. Very small, but well furnished. We even managed to cook dinner for 4 in the tiny kitchen, and we crowded into the wheelhouse to eat. We did not invite the guests to stay overnight though, that would have been too much! Gilles was very nice, communicative, flexible and responsive. I highly recommend staying here (if you're no taller than 5'10"!) for a unique stay near the center of Metz. Lovely walks along the canal, both towards town and away.

Nous avons apprécié ce séjour ensoleillé à Metz sur la péniche de Gilles : très propre, confortable, à l'espace optimisé et la déco de bon goût. Toutes les photos et descriptifs sont conformes à la réalité. L'hôte est de bons conseils pour visiter les environs. Merci à lui.

Gemütliches Hausboot

Wir hatten ein sehr angenehmes Sylvester-Wochenende mit Hund, kaum Böller und Feuerwerk. Sehr gute Lage, unbedingt empfehlenswert! Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist sehr stimmungsvoll. Gerne wieder!

Un lieu atypique

On a passé un très bon séjour dans la péniche de Gilles, il a été de très bon conseil pour les visites de Metz. La péniche est très bien placée, pas très loin du centre ville et pourtant elle est coupée de tout, en pleine nature ! Un petit parking gratuit est juste à côté, mais on peut faire quasiment tout à pied (cathédrale, musées, restaurants...) Bref, je recommande vivement !

Kapitein voor enkele dagen

Het gastenverblijf ligt heel rustig en op wandelafstand van het centrum. Men krijgt een goede indruk van de wijze waarop de mensen vroeger op een schip hebben geleefd (een speciale ervaring). Voor ons was het zeker geen probleem, maar de trappen horen er uiteraard wel bij. Jammer voor ons was het vrij koud waardoor we geen gebruik hebben kunnen maken van het terras (die er wel heel aantrekkelijk uitzag). Vriendelijke gastheer! Wij hebben er alleszins van genoten

Der Aufenthalt in Metz: Ein Volltreffer

Supergemütliches Ambiente, Wohlfühlen auf hohem Niveau, alles an Bord des Kahns hat seinen Platz und seinen Sinn, keine überflüssigen Dekoelemente oder Ķüchengeschirr das Platz wegnimmt. Sehr netter Austausch über email mit Gilles. 5Sterne für Gastgeber und Unterkunft

sehr schöne Atmoaphäre

wir haben 3 Nächte auf Gilles Hausboot komfortabel und bequem verbracht. Es hat an Nichts gefehlt, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, liebevoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Die Lage des Bootes ist optimal, die Umgebung wunderschön. Wir haben es sehr genossen.
