"The staff was excellent. The view from the Elite Club rooms is amazing. Entertainment was great some nights and not good on the nights that the sister hotel was having a theme party. The Elite club bars had excellent drinks. Other bars seemed to only have lower end alcohol. The A la carte restaurants only serve beer and wine for alcohol - no hard liquor. The rooms were spacious and clean."

"We had an amazing time but first night air conditioner was dripping the entire night keeping us up and flooding floor where we had to put our bath towels down so we had to switch rooms. Staff was helpful when we had forgotten something in our original room about 8 hours later but the floor was still flooded and they hadn’t even fixed the issue."

"Our stay was overall great. We really enjoyed the daily resort credits we were able to utilize almost every day. Our personal assistant Fernanda was great she even did something special and romantic for us as we were on our honeymoon. This is a great family resort even though there are adult only areas I would probably only come back with my family."

"We picked this hotel because it was Close to the Cabo Wabo Cantina. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is close to the marina and everything else. The food is really good and the staff were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. P.S.... The Expedia booking lists free car service from the airport and to the airport. This is not true, neither coming or going. Plan your car service accordingly."
Hotel Tropicana - Near Olas Altas Street

"We only stayed one night in Puerto Vallarta before heading to Nuevo Vallarta. The Tropicana was nice, we booked a superior room withe pool view but to our surprise was also a partial ocean view. We did not use the pool since it was raining that evening. We look forward to staying there again for a longer stay in the future since we loved how close the hotel is to the ocean."

"It’s was a good hotel … pros: nice rooms, confortable beds, high water pressure (hot n cold ) Cons: “no food or drinks from outside in rooms “ 18 DLL deposit for pool towels, smelly sheets blankets (humidity) :( ….. besides everything nice personal attention (staff) . Definitely I’ll come back again Acapulco HOTSSON hotel ! :)"
