The staff were fabulous, the rooms very clean, a Nespresso machine in each, but ask for a room with a window that opens onto the street, rather than a room that looks down on the restaurant or against a wall.
It was under construction so no kitchen or room service available so check that first. Fantastic location in Roma Norte.
Excellent stay — the room was spotless, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and the location couldn’t be better. Highly satisfied and would definitely return.
This hotel was a very beautiful place. I was impressed by the high quality of the staff and customer support. I highly recommend the hotel. The complimentary dinner was really amazing as well.
We absolutely loved our stay the staff on arrival was so amazing with drinks for us. We were early and they accommodated us to get us in our room early. The room was so nice and well organized. Our balcony view was amazing and relaxing.
We picked this hotel on a whim and were blown away by our stay at Hotel la Casona. The hotel itself was brimming with style and charm, art and local texture, all the markers of a boutique hotel in a quiet but accessible neighborhood. The staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. We felt as if our every need was accounted for and enjoyed the small touches of luxury like turn down service w pastries each night. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and I could not feel more compelled (due to my positive experience) to write this review, especially as this was a new hotel. Everything was in a word, delightful.
The recently renovated rooms are really nice. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Since they just opened, they’re still working out a few things, working up to full menus and services, etc. My room’s windows all faced out to the main restaurant below, which meant live music until close to midnight and prep work started at 6 am. Definitely not a restful sleep, despite the very comfortable bed.
Our stay at Casona was fantastic. The interior design is beautiful and so stylish from the artwork to the rooms, everything was chosen with care. I love design and enjoyed all of the little details. Make sure to visit the gorgeous coffee/matcha shop. The neighborhood and location are great and very walkable. What puts this place over the top though, is the staff. Communication was flawless and each person we interacted with was so warm and helpful. A huge shoutout to Ricardo and Chico for going above and beyond to help us wrap some art we purchased to make sure it traveled well. Brenda and Liv were also so sweet and helpful! CDMX has no shortage of beautiful hotels, but I would definitely stay here again.

There was loud construction we were not forewarned about and since it was the holidays and lots of things were closed there was no where else for us to go. It’s a very pretty property. I really wish the bathrooms had more counter space and there was more space for luggage.
Anyway very cute, boutique, chic and excellent service.
Room was great - good location, fun boutique hotel.

Room and hotel and beautifully renovated but we were not informed that there was ongoing work and the restaurants and bar were closed PLUS there was construction noise every day.
The hotel itself is good, the rooms have a very bad pluming smell. They know about it as they have odor devices around. When I checked in my room smell like it had just been sprayed with ambientalizer and the balcony doors were open. Despite this when I complaint they claim they were not aware about it. After, I heard another guest complained I request a room change as the smell was really bad, they told me they were sold out but would give me a dinner on the house.
Even though I appreciate the gesture that does not compensate having to sleep and wake up with a room smelling so bad for the price per night we paid.
No room change or night compensation, not aceptable for the severity of the smell.
That property just opened a month prior to my visit.
Beautiful property overall but disappointing on many levels:
- The staff felt unprepared and not efficient at all. They tried to be welcoming but the result felt too stuffy and not sincere.
- The "deluxe" room I paid for was very nice but had absolutely no view and the door did not close properly.
- Their sushi place "Suchi" was a disgrace to the Japanese cuisine even though they said it was a fusion between Japan and Sinaloa. Out of the 3 items I ordered
none of them were good and enjoyable. I told the GM the following day. He told me he would later taste the 3 items I ordered but I never heard back from him.
We wanted a boutique hotel in the hip district of Roma Norte. When we got there, there was a private party going on with a blasting DJ. We were informed it would continue until 12 am which it did. Granted it was Saturday night, but there was no regard for the guests. Our room was shaking it was so loud. The room itself was clean and modern but tiny. For the price they are charging (this was the week between Christmas and New Years) you are clearly paying for the location. Our room was also very cold without any easy way to adjust the temperature control. Needless to say we didn’t get a wink of sleep that night. We woke up Sunday morning to what sounded like moving furniture. We decided to leave the hotel even though we had 4 more days booked. We found a luxury hotel chain (JW Marriott) in the Polanco neighborhood which was cheaper and had excellent service. Bottom line, unless you’re 25 years old with a ton of money to burn and don’t care about sleeping don’t do it. Doesn’t work for couples or families - what a disappointment!

Awful Experience
Unfortunately the most awful hotel experience we've ever had. Save yourself the stress and avoid at all costs.
Starting with the check-in, our room wasn't ready until 2.5 hours past the check-in time because of an unorganized cleaning schedule. Not a big deal, but for a "luxury" hotel, they should be on top of this stuff.
Then we came home from dinner to the loudest music we've ever heard. There is no sound-proofing in these rooms (you can hear even a footstep in the hall) so the music was deafening in the room. We could barely hear ourselves speak, let alone sleep. We were told it was a private party... so not even a hotel restaurant or bar that we could enjoy ourselves.
The following morning we wanted to leave the hotel because of how terrible the day before was. They convinced us to stay, assuring us that there would be no music that next night. This turned out to be a complete lie because there was in fact another private party. Same experience with blasting music until late in the night.
Two awful sleeps, in this "luxury" "wellness" hotel, so finally we checked out early the next day and went to a different hotel. Just overall super disappointing.

Equipe muito gentil e solícita, mas o quarto era bastante pequeno. Colchão desconfortável.
