“This is a very relaxing stay. We came to visit family and intend to stay again. They have everything you need for your stay minutes the food. We spent the vast majority of our time on the front patio relaxing in the shade. We would highly recommend the Holder House! It’s a short 3 miles trip to the boat ramp if that’s your thing and the home owners alike you to park your boat and vehicle inside of their two car garage.”

“We stayed at this property for the FFA State Convention. It had plenty of room for our group of 8 students and 3 chaperones. It was close enough to MU that we were able to commute without any major issues and the yard was big enough that if the weather would have cooperated we could have done some outside activities.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our time in Columbia. It was a short weekend trip and we really only slept in the home. The neighborhood was not as nice as other neighborhoods we’ve stayed in, but it seems the town is older and there was work being done during our weekend to help improve the area. Volunteers were every where cleaning and helping the city. The home was just enough space for us.”

“Great square footage with more room than a hotel. King bed was nice and there would be plenty of room for an air mattress and a couch sleeper in the living room. Host lives above the space and had loud music playing until past midnight. Host was under the impression we were not arriving that evening and did not send us any check in communication ahead of time.”

“We traveled with our dogs to visit our daughter for her birthday. Appreciated the location which is close to campus and shopping and restaurants. Very large fenced yard was great for the dogs. Home was comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The only thing I would suggest is that it needed some home maintenance on a few things which we notified the host about and some extra cleaning of some areas. We had a basic plumbing problem that Jessica fixed immediately by……

“We came to town to get together with friends from college and see a football game. The grounds were great and the house was very nice. It was a little away from town but super easy to get to. I’m glad we weren’t there in the winter due to the gravel driveway which has a fairly steep hill. The kitchen’s organization was strange to us but we found everything we needed”

“We stayed 2 nights while in town for the state track meet. It was perfect for our needs and only cost $22 more than what a hotel would have cost for 2 queen beds. There were 5 of us and the space was perfect for our group. The house was spotless! We appreciated the snacks and water bottles. We took restaurant suggestions from the binder both nights and they were great! We ate at Las Margaritas and Walk On Bistreaux. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The listing is exactly like the property!! It was beautiful and modern. The owner was a delight to work with. It felt like a home and everyone in my party enjoyed it. Only downfall was the lack of cooking items in the kitchen that would have been helpful (were a family that enjoying a cooking while on vacation): a cutting board, rubber spatula, tongs, maybe a few more pots and pans. But not a deal breaker by any means, we made it work. The property was right on a Main Street and you just had……
