Great stay for a weekend away

Extremely Disappointing

Liked: ViewDisliked: 1. 21st day (34 day stay), I saw a cockroach under the kitchen sink, reported it to Host, she said someone would come up and spray, 4 days later killed a similar looking insect (sent pic to Host) she said exterminator would be here in 3 days. No treatment of any kind, kept all food in frig or plastic bags.2. Elevators – 10am - Noon and dinner time as well as all day Fri-Sun 20-40 min wait, Full elevators everyone selecting up to go down, people yelling at each other. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!3. Hot Tub was hot for our first 2 days Warm 2 other days after complaining to front desk, Management promised to fix on initial complaint. I complained almost daily and Management acted surprised each time, finally told it would not be fixed. Manager apologized, saying if I had booked thru them instead of VRBO they would have compensated me for the inconvenience, he said to ask Host for some reimbursement. Contacted Host, they promised to consider and call me with offer, I was never contacted again, no surprise. Advised by others to only book VRBO with “super host”, this host was certainly anything but “Super”. Unit had no kitchen towels, not even a sponge, 2 TV remotes malfunctioned, several lights needed bulbs and noted roach issue.Above is not new, read the Hyde beach reviews thoroughly, elevators and cockroaches in reviews, I should have! Lesson learned, Will only consider “Super Host” on VRBO.
