"The water was shut off when we arrived due to a water break. Room smelled musty and the furniture needs updated. The WiFi did not work. We had a reservation for two nights but did not use the second night. Because the room was not acceptable. The hotel rating did not accurately represent the condition of the facility and no refund was offered."

"Many choices for breakfast, room clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of room for parking large vehicles, and staff very helpful. Would stay here again. "

"We loved the Essenhaus Inn! Only one suggestion….perhaps upgraded cotton linens and bedspread would have been nice. There were stains in the bathtub which I think was actually on the film covering. "Breakfast was hot, homemade food and very tasty too! Coffee was good and hot. Staff smiling and helpful in answering questions. We enjoy staying at the Blue Gate and also seeing the wonderful shows that we love to see at the PAC which is within walking distance. You won’t be disappointed staying here. "

"Room was just renovated and clean. They are undergoing construction but it did not impact anything. Breakfast was good! Brand new TV. Only concern was the hot water in the shower was not consistent and same for the air conditioner. We notified the front desk."
