「Great room, perfect little continental breakfast and coffee machine which was so convenient. Rooms were super. Great bathroom and is close enough to walk into town. The barn is a fantastic addition and adds to the charm of the property. There were absolutely no issues at all with the stay and would definitely return to experience the Barossa again 」

「We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.」

「This is an excellent location, about a 10 minute walk to the east gate of Belair National Park which is a great attraction. We saw great birds and wildlife there and there is a nice dirt path that takes you right to the gate without having to walk on the roads. There are a lot of homes nearby but it is a quiet neighborhood. We had laughing kookaburras right outside our window at dawn and dusk which was fun. The unit itself is clean and comfortable. Lots of windows that are easy to access, giant...

「I had the most relaxing break here that I think I've ever experienced. Everything in the accommodation was perfect, and all the little extra touches just made me feel so welcome. Breakfast supplied (and you can go and visit the hens!), no traffic noise.... just birdsong in the mornings and the occasional horse noises.Peace and quiet and comfort. What else could you ask for on a break? 」
