"What a stellar stay! The property is pristine, beautiful and very clean. It’s nestled between the Riverwalk and the bars and shops on Broadway a few blocks away and we had an amazing time eating and drinking locally. The King room was amazing and had an excellent view of the river. The staff were attentive and friendly and even the room decor was engaging! An authentic and active gem in the middle of a historic and scenic community! "

"The breakfast was just ok, not exciting at all. The bathtub could have been cleaner when I got there and I still didn’t get my $125 back yet. Also I just bought a Pepsi (that’s all they have btw) and a coffee drink and I was charged over $20 for that. "

"The house was cute and charming, beds were comfy! First the issue with the code, and not getting it. I understand that was an oversight however, after a 16 hour drive , it added some undo stress. On arrival with it being evening the house was pitch dark, had a hard time finding driveway let alone getting to the front door. I suggested better lit area for the entrance and numbers clearly visible. Everything was organized and wiped down except the floors! They were filthy and in every room, I have pictures and not sure who does the cleaning, but I am not happy about paying 100 to have house the cleaned when we left when it wasn’t cleaned when we arrived? Also this needs fixed immediately, in the bedroom with the black sparkly wall paper were there starts the carpet nails are all poking through and we’re quite painful to step on. I like to walk around barefooted and that was impossible! The kitchen definitely was rundown and didn’t look at all like the pictures. For all this I am rating a 3!! "

"breakfast was simple but very good. Only complaint Microtel should remove the alarm clocks from the rooms they go off in the middle of the night and it's nearly impossible to figure out how to shut it off, I think the person in the next ended up smashing it. Everyone has an alarm on their cellphone"
