“I'm not sure if the property changed owners, but the old bad reviews are no longer relevant. The unit was very clean and stocked with dishes, towels, toiletries, paper products, hand and dish soap. The decor is so quirky and cute! The lakefront location was unbeatable, and the restaurant on property is somewhat silly but fine. We will be back!”

“We took our honeymoon at Middle Bass Island in the Hazards. This was both our 1st time on the island. We learned alot about the history of the island, winery, wetlands & was able to go hiking on some of the trails they have here. Our hosts Michelle & Brian our amazing folks. They did amazing job on there Surf Shack. We didnt have NO issue at all. We needed an extra blanket & both of them came over with it. Michelle & Brian our very friendly, helpful warm & caring. “Super cozy and comfortable place that allowed us to be close to family on the island while having our own space. Clean rooms, great AC, good wifi, quiet, and plenty of room to relax after a day on the lake.Terry was super communicative before, during and after the process and was very easy to get in touch with.
