“We had a great time at Red Roof Cottage. 5 stars all around. We had a college graduation party to attend on Saturday, and being from PA, we decided to make a weekend of it since we had to drive pretty far. On the last day, we decided to hike Crabtree Falls and we made it to the top of the falls. Excellent hike, but you have to be in good shape and go on a dry day because of slippery conditions. We lucked out and had perfect weather for it. The view at the top is amazing. We stopped at Black Bear……

“This was an ideal rental for our family of four. The cottage is located in close proximity to Woodrow Park, which provides a walking bridge to cross the railroad tracks and venture into the historic downtown district on foot. The hosts were super nice and had all the lights on in the house when we arrived late in the evening; there was no fumbling in the dark to punch in the lock code or enter the house, which we very much appreciated. This was probably the cleanest VRBO rental we’ve ever……

“I lost my wife to cancer recently and the Cozy Cottage was the most perfect place to relax and connect with my three kids. The home is absolutely amazing with this most spectacular views. You'll never want to leave the deck! Everything is clean and organized and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few home cooked meals. Bedrooms were super comfy with lots of pillows. The master bathroom was great with a huge soaking tub and we all loved the towel warmer! My daughter said the was going to……

“This was a beautiful and quiet setting perfectly located for our interests which were hiking the Appalachian Trail, exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, and enjoying a day trip to Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. The property was clean, well laid out, and functional. Communication was clear. We had a wonderful stay.”

“Our stay at the Irish Farmhouse was perfect! The property is well designed and appointed and an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape and area. We didn’t get use the porch or fire pit as it was too cold but definitely will next time we stay. Everything was spotless, the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had just what we needed for a meal that we picked up from a local grocery store. Close to downtown Lexington but far enough away to feel remote. We can’t wait to plan……

“What can I say other than, Magnifique! The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.”
