“The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!!”

Wanting to have some peace and quiet when others were coming up last year led us to look elsewhere and this is where we decided to stay...and we loved it. This year we decided to book it before we even checked with my other family members. You don't need to struggle to find a reason to stay here. We are so glad we took advice and found this beautiful, quaint and cozy home. We absolutely love the location of this house as it’s in walking distance to down town amenities. Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate family and all essentials needed in kitchen should you choose to cook. Has nice cozy back porch and big bonus……

“Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!”

“This is a great property with a wonderful space for large families. We loved the large table that was able to seat our 21 family members. The children also enjoyed the large room upstairs with the toys, foosball, Legos, books and TV. Our family enjoyed the yard to play games and have a camp fire. There were plenty of outside chairs and the picnic tables were great. Our family enjoyed having the property next to the creek where they played, fished, and skipped rocks.
