“Clean house, beds fantastic. Great kitchen...Very good host..Parking was a challenge if you have more than 2 cars...But nota negative.”

“Everything was great!”

“We had a great stay! We were traveling with our dogs and it’s great to find dog friendly accommodations in an amazing place. Location was outstanding , if you plan on staying close or as a home base for day trips north or south for even more hiking, biking and outdoor activities. Also for grocery stores if you’ve been to Vermont before you will appreciate having a couple (!) so close. So many fun things to do nearby. The communication the the host was superb and quick! We had everything we……

“We were 8 people coming to VT to watch our girls play lacrosse at Middlebury. The house is as pictured and perfect for large groups. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would all definitely stay here again and recommend a stay at this house. Some of us even said it would be perfect for a small……

“Photos are not representative of interior conditions. Counters and floors were not clean”

“Host was very responsive. Very fine bedding and towels.”

“Great house for a family get together! The house was spacious and backyard was perfect for a summer evening by the fire pit. Highly recommend.”

“The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night.”

“Our stay at Herons watch was wonderful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever want and need. We brought our boat and launched it at the bridge which was easy and the ride on the lake back to the house was smooth and easy. The views are awesome. We enjoyed family meals and sitting on the porch , had a camp fire, played games, fished and relaxed. I highly recommend this home for a quality vacation thank you”

“Property was exactly as advertised. Perfect for our large family for the weekend. Lots of beds and bathrooms to accommodate our needs.”

“Perfect location for ski vacation. House was clean, close to resort. Quick drive to restaurants, looking forward to staying again! ”

“The house's location was amazing. The cookware was dirty and old; I ended up buying pans to cook. The hot tub was dirty and had a bad smell from day one. A company came to clean it, but I don't think they actually did their job. The host was good.”

“I would recommend the apartment to anyone needing a place to stay in the area. We needed to be close to the airport and it was only a 20 minute easy drive. The property is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Management was easy to contact and check in and check out was simple.”

“Great!!!”

“Great location. Clean but homey. Secluded.”

“The Vines is a beautiful home with luxurious accommodations. We booked this property because it was perfect for our large family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for everyone—comfortable beds, great common areas to spend time together, and enough room to spread out when needed. We stayed while attending our daughter’s graduation from Norwich University, and the location was ideal—close enough to town, yet peaceful and tucked away. We had a wonderful experience……

“Wonderful comfortable place with the best view in the valley. All the amenities you need for great vacation. ”
