「I liked everything」

「Upon checking in I noticed each night had a different price ranging from $115-$160. When i asked for a breakdown of why each night was a different price I was told "I dont know, we just do it that way." Pool was closed the entire stay (5 days) even though we were told upon check in it would be open the next day. Our first room was on the 3rd floor. Upon getting off the elevator we were met with a horrible strong moldy smell. The room itself also smelled very bad. We requested a different room...

「Check in process not so good — had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to show up that apparently was on the property in a different location. Breakfast not so good or appetizing.」

「The property was an okay stay. Should be listed for a little under what we paid per night ($104). When we got to the room the tv didn’t work, but a staff member helped us fix it. The safe in our room wasn’t working for our entire stay. Even after bringing it to the attention of staff members. They never got back to us or fixed it. The tub was leaking every time you took a shower. The tub also had an incline towards the back of it and had no shower mat, so falling in the shower was a real threat....

「This is not your typical hotel stay, so when I say everything was well maintained, service was good, etc, it accounts for the fact it is a very old home with some original or era appropriate things (such as old doornobs which my daughter commented on), and that it is a true B&B so it is their home and they have lives and it is not a standard hotel setting (they had a hair dryer, just not in every bathroom).
