I made a reservation and paid a week in advance for 2 nights. When I arrived at 8:30 pm to check in after work, I was told they could not accommodate me because they were under construction, and that Expedia had been contacted and I should get with them for a refund. It’s crazy neither the Comfort Inn, or Expedia especially, couldn’t take two minutes to give me a courtesy call and let me know I should find something else. But, I expect nothing less these days. Both of them are a joke. Now, I’m getting the runaround from Expedia about getting a refund. I’ve used them off and on now for the past 7 years, and they’ve gone from okay, to terrible. 5 years ago, I would have been able to speak with a real person on the phone in a matter of minutes, and my issue would be resolved by the end of the call. Those days are over. Plus, their rewards program is garbage. You can literally use ANY other travel site, and the rewards are going to be better, and rates probably cheaper. I’ve already spoken with a few of my coworkers and we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere. And we know a lot of others who use Expedia that will jump ship as well, just as as soon as they hear about this. As far as Comfort Inn and Expedia go, they are garbage. Like 0.18% out of 100%

Couldn't shower due to brown leaking into the shower from the above floor. I gave them a second chance due to my toilet over flowing and soaking the floor. Checked out the following morning and tha front lady had cats all inside the building. Im allergic to cats so i had to deal with that for hours. Will not be returning. The daytime folks rocked though!!!!

I had 3 rooms here. One was not suppose to be cancelled and one was. The rooms I told from my employees had mold in the bathroom, toilet didn’t flush, roaches were seen in both rooms. It is under construction and I was not notified about that when these rooms were booked. My employee ended up sleeping in his car because he had no room. This is so unprofessional. DO NOT stay here.

Bed Bugs, Unsafe, and Under Construction

I would not recommend staying here. My experience at Quality Inn Midland South was very disappointing for several reasons: Bed Bugs: The room had bed bugs, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable and unsanitary. Poor Water Pressure: The shower had terrible water pressure, making it difficult to use. Outdated Rooms: The rooms are old, outdated, and not well maintained. Unsafe Surroundings: There were homeless individuals camped right outside the property, which made the area feel unsafe. Construction Ongoing: The building was still under construction, adding to the mess and noise. For the price, I expected much better. This hotel needs serious improvements in cleanliness, safety, and maintenance. Until those issues are fixed, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This property was in middle of Reno’s. The windows all taped off. Hallways were hot. I didn’t even stay. You should refund the 17,000 points I used to stay at a different hotel.

hotel was under construction and they didn’t advise us at all and we asked for a partial refund for a difference in a room since they said a 3rd party overbooked us were unwilling to help us had to go through expedia to get any kind of resolution just to get kicked out when we asked for sheets since the once in the room were dirty we called around midnight close to 1 in the morning and they were waiting to tell us anything

When I arrived to the hotel I was very disappointed in the condition of the hotel. I assume there was remodeling going on but nothing was stated on the website. The entry was demolished and under construction, the entire building was hot and uncomfortable but also open to the outdoor elements. The front side of the hotel was also being renovated and under construction. Once I was in my room the was so much cigarette smoke dander to the point I couldn’t stay in the room. I also had issues breathing in the room due to mold spores growing on the AC unit inside the room. Being an HVAC technician I knew exactly why I was feeling the way I was in the room. I then went down to request a different room and luckily they did have rooms available due to the renovation and very few people staying there. I can honestly say this has been my worst experience at any hotel and would not stay there ever again.

Needs updating

The hotel reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the room was very old. The bathtub and sink were not dirty but they seem to be stained with many years.
