Amazing home

We enjoyed our stay. House was so nice. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The swimming pool was so clean and the outdoor patio and TV were great. The host was so nice and responded quickly.

Accommodating and Hospitable

We were visiting our kids and grandkids in Midland. The property offered more than enough space for dining, leisure, and rest. The neighbor is friendly and located near shopping establishments and restaurants. Everything was clean and welcoming. We hope to return next year!

Close to everything on north side Midland

We had a group celebrating the holidays and this place was a good fit. Our positive comments were related to the multiple seating options for our group / open concept. The pool table was great entertainment too. Thanks for putting up a Christmas tree!

Gem in Midland!

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious house in Midland! The location is perfect—close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and private. The house is incredibly roomy, with plenty of space for our entire family, including my teen kids and my parents.The family room was the highlight for us! It’s equipped with a pool table and plenty of seating, which kept everyone entertained for hours. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals for the whole family.The thoughtful touches throughout the house made our stay even more enjoyable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Whether relaxing together or enjoying some personal space, this house met all our needs. We highly recommend it for any family looking for a comfortable, fun, and convenient place to stay!

Comfortable home for family stay

We had 7 adults in our family staying at the property during a 6 day training course at a nearby venue. It was so nice having the pool and a four bedroom, 3.5 bath home. House is very comfortable but needs a few repairs. Weve stayed at other properties and this one is needing some updating and repair work. For the price there are nicer properties in the area with similar amenities. We did enjoy our stay and just wanted to share some constructive feedback.

Somewhat disappointed

Booked the house it looked super nice! Received a phone call that we could check in early. We get there the house is a complete mess. We call the owner and he says the house keeper was suppose to do it yesterday and didn’t. She shows up and doesn’t change the sheets, nothing. They need to update their photos and do a major deep cleaning of the house! The owner was very nice

Comfortable for large groups

I have to start with I also read the reviews and was skeptical, so I reached out to Steven prior to my stay. He went above and beyond to accommodate my 93 year old grandma all the way down to my 7 year old daughter. The pool was clean, house was cool with an amazing location. We were only using 2 of the bedrooms in the house the master and mother in law suite and both had comfortable beds. The mother in law suite is definitely the hottest room in the house, but with the fan provided, we stayed comfortably. The house allowed for some incredible game nights and dinners around the table. The living room furniture has been updates since pics were taken and is gorgeous. If I were to provide any advice, the front room fan isn't working, and an update to grill would be a great addition. It is old, and we actually decided not to BBQ because of it. Overall great property, incredible and accommodating host.

Family trip to Midland

The property manager texted us check information - which was helpful and remained available throughout the trip. The back door was unlocked upon arrival. The pool was very cold, without instructions on how to heat it, but we were able to figure it out. Pool was murky and worsened with use. Backyard was disheveled with porch furniture cushions falling apart. Outdoor fridge was working and was a very convenient and beneficial addition. There were several maintenance concerns - broken electrical outlets, outlets not working, and old cable dangling out from the wall. We had to be vigilant with out two-year old. The kitchen sink leaks and the bucket accumulating the leaking water was full of foul-smelling moldy water, which I took the liberty of emptying and replacing. In addition the dishwasher was not functional which was known prior to check in but the property manager did not offer that information until I asked about it once we were unable to get the load of dishes going. VERY inconvenient for a FAMILY vacation. In general, the bedrooms were tidy and comfortable, there were enough linens and kitchen utensils for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our time

Green pool

Walked in 30 minutes after check-in and the cleaning lady was still there so we had to wait on her to finish. She apologized and said the people before us had a late checkout. House was ok. Lots of beds and temperature was nice and cool. Definitely needs updates - doors off hinges, one side of fridge door unable to open with a taped note on the outside. Washing machine lid broken, etc. All but two towels provided were pool towels. Wifi wasn’t displayed correctly so had to reach out to the host to obtain. The most disappointing thing and why we rented the house was the pool. It was green. When we reached out to the host they said it was cleaned four days before but the entire patio area didn’t look like it had been touched in a long time. I sent the host pictures of the pool and was told we could swim in it because you could still see the blue tile triangles on the steps but that it was our preference…. Cloudy and green with no circulation is a big no. The host said he was out of the country and his pool lady was out of town. They said the pool had had a lot of activity over the weekend, to check the two baskets around the pool and hopefully it would clear up in the morning…. It was more green the next morning. The host said there was nothing to be done, apologized and offered a refund for the inconvenience but haven’t seen that. Would have definitely booked a different property had I known we couldn’t use the pool since that was the entire reason we booked this property.

Weekend celebration

The house was plenty big for the group we had with us. We loved the pool table and pool outside! All the rooms and bathrooms were clean and big! We did find that the fridge/freezers did not stay very cold though. If we had a longer stay that could’ve been more of an issue. Owner was very accommodating in letting us check in early as well! Loved our stay there and family from out of town was very happy as well!

The size of the property was adequate for our family, it was well stocked with the essentials. There were some issues initially however the property manager handled all promptly. Overall my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay in Midland visiting with family in town.
