B&B in Mihintale

"Wir buchten, sie wussten nicht das wir kommen, also irgendwie 45min diskutiert. Bezahlt haben wir ja im voraus. Zu unserem Guide waren sie durchzogen. Türe vor seiner Naase geschlossen. Morgens fragen sie uns wie es mit der nãchsten nacht ausschaut. Hmmm, obwohl nur 1 nacht buchten und ihnen unsere buchung am vortag auf einem ausgedruckten papier zeigten . Das Badezimmer war halt recht durchzogen. Der garten wird umgebaut, lãd nicht zum verweilen ein. Das Frühstück aber war echt fein,...

"Mmmm...on arrival we were made to feel very unwelcomed. We were not expected and then was criticised for booking through Expedia because the $ the host received was a much smaller % compared to other booking groups! (I then learnt that Hotels.com is owned by Expedia!!) We got an 'upgrade' which was not necessary. The rest of the o/n stay was pleasant."
