Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Sally war bei unserer Ankunft sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns alles wichtige erklärt. Auch die Küchenausstattung war super. Wasser, Kaffee, Milch, Saft, Tee, Salz, Gewürze, Waschpulver, Insektenspray waren bereits bei der Ankunft vorhanden. - Garten und Pool sind uneinsehbar und sehr ruhig gelegen, so dass wir die Idylle jeden Tag genießen konnten. Das Pool war bereits Ende September beheizt (28-30 Grad warmes Wasser) und die Klimaanlage in den 3 Schlafzimmern hat das Obergeschoss auch bei hohen Temperaturen amgenehm kühl gehalten. Auch das WLAN war relativ schnell und selbst im abgelegenen Teil des Gartens gut zu empfangen. - Mit dem Uber-Taxi kommt man für 6-12 überall hin (Restaurants, Supermärkte einschl. Abholung), so dass wir auf einen Mietwagen verzichtet haben. - Gerne werden wir in unserem nächsten Andalusien-Urlaub wieder dieses Ferienhaus buchen.

Really great communication in the run up and whilst there. Fantastic villa - really wonderful that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom even with three couples there no one was ever on top of anyone. The pool gate and stairgate meant we could relax with our toddler running round. Already looking forward to our next stay!

De villa is ruim. 4 grote slaapkamers en badkamers. De keuken is ruim uitgerust. De tuin is heerlijk met de zwembad, de eettafel en de loungehoek.

Great stay

Great place to stay we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The villa had everything we needed. We enjoyed being between mijas pueblo and the coastline of Fuengirola. Taxis can get costly so I would recommend hiring a car which we will do the next time we visit. But overall what a great place

Very nice

The best was the pool! All the bedrooms were nice, good and spacies. A little bit hard beds.Aircondiction in every room - good. Nice to have a bathroom for every bedroom and an extra toilett by the livingroom.We walked down to the beach and took Uber back home. It took us a good half an hour to walk. Recommend to hire a car.

Perfect!

We were a party of 8 ranging from 5 years to 80 years and the villa was very spacious inside and out! The heated pool was a big hit & was enjoyed both through the day and at night. Plenty of board games and a good selection of reading matter. The villa is very well equipped, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in one that was better equipped!ideally situated to enjoy the beach resorts and beautiful Mijas village.

Good location and garden, but also some disappointing points

The location of the villa is good and the heated pool is great, also in winter months. There is a nice garden with a good view. The area is very nice and quiet.There were however some disappointing points. The interior of the house could use an update. Some things in the kitchen did not work properly, like the closing of the washing machine. The pans were overused with a lot of scratches in them. The single beds were very unstable and not really suitable for (older) adults. The house was not clean when we arrived, with a lot of dust on the floors and sugar spread over the kitchen.Overall, regarding the price and all the good reviews, we were a little disappointed.

Very Good!

We are 3 couples spent a short break in this lovely villa. Plenty of space very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Added bonus was heated pool the water was luxuriously warm throughout our stay very impressive. The manger and owner are very friendly nothing was too much trouble we even had complimentary wine for our arrival!We left feeling relaxed and refreshed will definitely be back.

Totally unacceptible !

We booked this villa as it had nearly only 5 star ratings , and it had the facilities we were looking for .Communication with the manager was initially fine . We had agreed on a late arrival , and we showed up exactly on time .Then the show began : The housekeeper arrived by car , and as health professionals , we know a drunk person when we see them . She was not just tipsy !The house was freexing cold , and she only turned the heaters on when we arrived .We found black hairs in one of the beds, and initially she just brushed it away - and didnt change the sheets until we told her to do so .Breadcrumbs on the kitchen table , Microwave owen was dirty , the owen could only heat on grill, and the lid couldnt close properly .Dishwasher was out of salt , and the lid couldnt close unless you lifted the top.Coffeemachine had not been cleaned . Chairs around the kitchen bar was broken , and the kitchen window couldnt close .No aircon in the living room and the provided heaters could not provide sufficient heating .In one of the bedrooms the aircon was disconnected ( cable simply cut ) and the adjacent bathroom had no outlets !Pool was heated as promised , but after a rainfall the electricity disappeared and the heating pump stopped. We couldnt get it started again .Tiles around the pool are partly broken and filled with green algae , and hence very slippery when wet .When we called the property manager , she threatened that we would be thrown out by the police !!!

Excellent Villa for family get-together

The villa has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay for a wide range of ages with plenty of space, lovely facilities, well equipped and ideally located. The host and manager are very warm, welcoming, extremely helpful and quick to respond.

Mijas Golf

Dealing with Anabel was a pleasure, very prompt with answering questions. The property itself was perfect for 4 fat old golfers. 4 seperate rooms with 4 bathrooms. Lovely outdoor seating area and a great pool. Only slight negative was that theres only really one restaurant within walking distançe, but mijas or fuengirola only a few minutes cab ride away. Overall a great stay, and will use it again in the future.

Beautiful villa

We stayed for 4 nights at the Villa Carlito Santa Monica, with our friends, 2 other couples. The villa is really well equipped and very peaceful. The pool is heated and well kept. There is a very good local bus service to Mihas Pueblo and Fungirola and the taxi's are easy to book. Sally the property manager is lovely and really helpful with recommendations and after a couple of days we found ourselves right at home. It was just what we needed, some peace and quiet and sunshine which there was plenty of!

Vi har haft fantastiska februaridagar i den fina villan! Bäst av allt var nog den uppvärmda poolen som var till glädje för stora och små. Men också toppen att det var fina sovrum med sköna sängar och en toalett/dusch per rum. Sally var så hjälpsam med allt vi önskade. Området är lugnt och stilla, men väldigt kuperat, så morgonpromenadena gav bra puls Vi vandrande med Mijas som utgångspunkt, fina och välskyltade leder. Smidigt att ta bussen till Fuengirola och Mijas. Kan också rekommendera restaurang El Muro som finns inom gångavstånd.

Perfect vacation

It was the second time we rented the villa – and we hope to return. Everything in the villa is in perfect condition. The heated pool is perfect in January! Some distance to Mijas/beach, but we didn’t bother to rent a car since Uber/Bolt is so easy to use.

Fantastic holiday

We (3 generations) have had a fantastic holiday in this Villa. Inside it has everything you need and the outside area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the heated pool. The kids absolutely loved the warm pool. And Sally’s ice cream 🍡 We got a warm welcome by Sally and she had provided cool white wine for the adults and ice cream for the children. Thank you again Sally, for your way to make us feel very welcome. The bus down to Fuengirola and Mijas is just a few minutes walk from the house. We definitely come back to this house ☺️

50th birthday bash

Me and 7 friends stayed at this lovely villa for 5 nights. It was perfect for the size of our party. The bedrooms were all nice, the bathrooms were all good, 2 were more modern. The kitchen was great it had everything we needed, the fridge isnt massive but there was one to use under the outside bar which came in handy. The outside area was the best thing about this villa and that is where we spent most of our time. Adequate sunbeds and parasols, the seating area was lovely. The pool was lovely although im not sure it was heated but luckily the weather was very hot so a nice cool pool was what we needed. We didnt hire a car but would be ideal to get around, although the cabs and bus service was good to get to Mijas Pueblo and other areas. Mijas Pueblo is beautiful. There are no shops within walking distance so transport is needed. There is a bar within 5mins walking distance. All in all we had a fantastic time at the villa, would recommend. Annabelle and Sally are both very helpful. My only negative was that i think the outside area needed a good sweeping up before we arrived. Thanks for letting us stay

We have been as a family and the house is spacious and comfortable, it has everything we need and the pool, which Anabel very kindly heated for us, is excellent, we were very comfortable, to say the least, it would need to renew the sun loungers and improve some aspects of the garden, but The truth is that it's great.
