「We all had a great time. The water was a little green for swimming. We went in August, maybe earlier in the summer wouldn't be green. Other than that 10/10」

「If you’re looking for a quiet get away from the stresses of daily life, this is a great place to relax and reboot. The lake is beautiful and 90 percent undeveloped. And so quiet and peaceful. There is a residence nearby with motor boats at their dock, but they weren’t there for the five days we were staying here. The experience would have been different with those out on the lake, as it is a small lake. The fishing was great, if you like throwing lures for bass. The beds were comfortable. ...

「Easy check-in and lovely, pristine cabin that smells like cedar. New, well-equipped and comfortable with great views on a quiet lake. We really enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks, as well as the flat top grill,fire pit and ping-pong table. Very nice kitchen with big island. Reliable internet.Easy short drive to Hayward and Spooner. 「The cottage location was beautiful with lake access for our kayaks. The hosts were timely with responses & accommodating check-in/check-out. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for the week. Water pressure was low for showers but is to be expected for a summer lake cottage. Was a lovely week away & would stay again!!」

「We had a wonderful girls weekend at this cozy lake cabin. The cabin was spotless on arrival and the owners have thoughtfully equipped it with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. There are lovely gathering places inside & outside. Location is also a bonus. We enjoyed shopping in Shell Lake and Spooner, Perlick distillery, Hunt Hill Nature Center & pizza from Lake View Bar & Grill! We would definitely return. 」

「Stayed here for an anniversary vacation, and enjoyed every minute. Home was clean, inviting and comfortable. Deck overlooking the water was a favorite place to sit. Hill to the dock was a little steeper than I thought from photos, but we made do. Fish cleaning station is a nice touch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wonderful shower with great water pressure.(We all know we've stayed in places that was not the case.) Would highly recommend.」

It turned out we overpacked - almost everything we needed was available to us there, making our stay comfortable and easy. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming. It is pretty shallow near the beach so my kids had a ton of space to play safely. We will return!」
