Disappointing - not at all as described.
The room doesn’t reflect the pictures at all. On arrival we were shown to our room which was an annex to the actual hotel on the corner of two main roads. The walls were glass windows all around so not soundproof at all from passing people on cars. The coffee machine was broken, the room was really dusty and the shower was disgusting (paint hanging from the ceiling and the plastic shower tube was black with mould). We asked to change rooms (mainly because of the noise) but they were fully booked so we could only change on the second night. The next day (after a horrible nights sleep) we moved rooms into one that was a few doors down which was a bit quieter not being on the corner of two main roads. The sliding door to the bathroom wouldn’t slide and had a big chunk of mirror broken at the bottom of it. Another really dusty room and the shower tube in this one was even worse than in the first room. But at this point we were just happy to not have the street cleaners outside the room at 1am ! The only positive was the breakfast (standard continental) and the breakfast staff who were lovely. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here simply because you can’t get a decent nights sleep.

Great staff and beds! Shower head distributes water unevenly, and for some reason there were always one or two mosquitos in my room. Awesome breakfast though! Enjoyed my stay!

Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man aus dem Zimmer kommt und gleich auf dem Gehweg steht. Fenster waren nicht zu öffnen. Man mußte immer mit Klimaanlage schlafen, die lief dann auch ohne Unterbrechung. Die Farbgebung der Zimmer ( giftgrün) war auch etwas, woran man sich gewöhnen durfte. Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Duschen war sehr schwierig. Entweder kalt oder kochend heiß. Mit regulieren war da nicht viel. Personal super, Reinigung super, Frühstück perfekt, für jeden etwas dabei. Gute Busanbindung zur Zentralstation. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel machen in dieser Stadt wirklich Sinn.

This is a charming hotel with a very modern vibe and a great breakfast spread. The room was a very comfortable set up for a family of 4 traveling. It is minutes away from the sites of Milan. We rented bikes and road in to the old town. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood and a supermarket right around the corner.

Home Away from Home = a DO AGAIN!
TownHouse33 became our home away from home. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Daily breakfast to fuel up for the day. A wonderful courtyard available for breakfast, daytime or evening lounging. This hotel is not in the main tourist area. You can expect a 25 minute walk to the Duomo as an example. The upside is that this area is quiet = peaceful nights sleep! Well worth the visit.

Bom, mas um pouco disfuncional
O único porém é que o quarto que ficamos possui algumas disfuncionalidades, tais como televisão no teto, chuveiro desconfortável, prateleiras junto à cama. O design é supermoderno, porém em alguns aspectos peca pela falta de praticidade. No mais, é bem limpo,. relativamente bem locaizado, café da manhã bom.

Nice hotel near train station and near LIN airport
Our family of four stayed at Townhouse 33 hotel for one night before we headed to Paris. The hotel is a short taxi ride from Milan train station, which is very convenient. We arrived early but was lucky to get our room. The room was very spacious with an impressive bathroom. My two boys really enjoyed their shower. From the hotel, you can easily catch a bus to the famous Duomo. From Duomo, we took Metro to the church which holds the famous "Last Supper". We checked out earlier to catch our flight at LIN airport on the second day. We were able to eat our breakfast before the normal breakfast time. The front desk then called a taxi and in two minutes, we were on our way to the airport. It was a good experience!

Overall good experience for a short stay
Overall a good experience. Checking in and out was easy, room was clean, bed was comfortable. 2 negatives- the shower head was leaking/broken and the TV didn’t work. We only stayed 1 night so these weren’t huge issues.

Die Unterkunft war modern eingerichtet,was auf den ersten Blick positiv war. Leider waren einige Dinge der verhältnismäßig neu eingerichteten Unterkunft schon defekt. Die indirekte Deckenbeleuchtung im Zimmer ging nicht ein zuschalten. Dadurch war die Ausleuchtung des Zimmers nur sehr spärlich. Eine Nachttischlampe gab es nicht, was uns fehlte beim Lesen. Die Schranktüren der Kichtenette waren so verstellt, das sie sich nicht schließen ließen. im Bad war die Dusche (Regenwalddusche) nicht richtig angebracht ´, so dass Wasser zwischen Decke und Duschkopf rausspritze und gegen den Spiegel spritzte und dann den ganzen Waschtisch samt Utensilien unter Wasser setzte. Das Zimmer lag direkt an der Straße (Kreuzung). Dadurch war die Geräuschkulisse von der Straße doch sehr stark, man hatte das Gefühl direkt auf der Straße zu schlafen. Man ging auch von der Straße direkt ins Zimmer. Der Vorhang innen, vor Fenster und Tür, war durch das häufige Betreten des Zimmers an der oberen Ecke stark eingerissen und teilweise aus der Führung raus gerissen. Wie gesagt eigentlich ein schönes Zimmer, leider ließ die Funktion sehr zu wünschen übrig.
