“Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.”

“We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. It’s a bit of a drive outside of the city, but we were just there at the end of the night to sleep, so we didn’t mind it, and it was a nice, quiet area. All in all,……

“Not much in the area and the tents didn’t seem to offer a view like the pictures. Diesel heater was difficult to understand, had to turn it in and off to regulate heat throughout the night. Didn’t receive instructions on how to use it ”

Trailer has everything that you need for your stay, they thought of everything. They made us feel welcome and we will be back for sure. “This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. This is a great location for families looking to maximize ability to hit Peggy’s Cove as well as down to Crescent Beach and……

“My family and I had a wonderful atay at Captain's House. The view of the bay right outside of the front of house was spectacular!! One morning we even saw a couple of whales breaching out there. Its a roomy place that held the 5 of us easily and a couple that came to visit us one day.Rachel was easy to deal with and responded to questions in a timely maner.I would definitely stay here again and recommend Captain's House to anyone coming to the area.”
