“We arrived early afternoon after receiving a note from the host that we could check in early, without us even asking (though we did plan to, but he beat us to it!). The house felt so cozy upon our arrival, it was the right temperature and felt so inviting and welcoming. There was also more than enough room for everyone(4). We loved that this home was only 1 hour away from some great hiking spots, and Pictured Rocks and Tahquamanon Falls! “My husband and I enjoyed four days at this lovely lakefront cabin. The property is well outfitted and comfortable for a couple or a larger family or group of friends. It is also well situated for heading out for day trips to explore many of the recreational and scenic locations in the region. Beginning each day with coffee on the porch and relaxing with cocktails while watching the sunset was extra special too.”

“The cottage was perfect for a quick visit. Upon arrival, the place was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Internet speed was excellent. Loved the fire pit by the lake! Unfortunately did not have time to fish. Location is perfect to access several UP attractions. Highly recommend!”

There were a few minor things that could use repaired the bathroom door as other reviews have mentioned the sliding screen door and there was no light in the refrigerator but overall things were very very good and Sue was a great hostess we would definitely recommend this place to our friends.”

“Twin beds are very comfortable and have stable frames. (no rickety beds here!) There are 2 additional cots available as well. The en suite bathroom has safety rails and a built in seat which was perfect for my 78 year-old mother. The front steps are a bit of a challenge if you have any mobility difficulties. The property was very clean. When a minor house issue was noted, the owners were very prompt and professional in addressing the situation. The only negative was road noise. I did not……
