“Great Waters is so peaceful. The cottage could use some updating and decorating but was fine for a couple of days.”

“Our stay at Birdie's Nest was fantastic. The description provided by the owner was spot on, and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. As soon as we walked in the front door, we were captivated by the stunning views of Lake Oconee and the 9th hole of the golf course. “We are in agreement with all the positive reviews. Lots of wild birds, take a hummingbird feeder, we attracted many per day. The rustic furniture is adequate. The kitchen has all the necessary basic items. If you like watching water craft going up and down the lake front, you will have plenty of opportunity.”

“Two biggest complaints: there was no WiFi and the air conditioning vent in the downstairs bathroom leaked so bad we had to use all the towels and eventually a large pot to keep the floor dry. Communication via guest contact was useless. I emailed the first time at 6pm on Thursday, and it’s Sunday and I’ve still not gotten a response. “The stay was okay for me & my family. The beds weren’t comfortable at all. There was a stain on one of the bedroom sheets, so we had too wash it before laying in it. Other than that it was okay. Would I book again… probably not only because we all complained about the beds being very uncomfortable.”
