Check out the River Thames tides time. I like going out on the river bank when low tide is at sunrise or sunset. Nice light and different perspective on the London city scape are a good combination for some nice photos.
I get that it’s cool and good-looking monument, but man it’s 26GBP! I can feed myself for two days with that amount of money. Having that said and if you really really fancy a capsule ride, at least try to do it in a clear sky day to enjoy a decent view of the city. This will probably reduce your time window to 20 days/year but at least you won’t feel like a fool after spending so much money to see fog. Great size of room/washroom coupled with great location! The breakfast buffet was amazing - we enjoyed our experience. Only drawback is the hard tiling in the rooms - could use a rug or bring your slippers!

I loved everything about this hotel, particularly the location (right bedside Charing Cross Stn and steps away from theatre, covent garden and Trafalgar Square). My room was lovely and had a great view of the Strand. I didn't have breakfast, but went to their gorgeous restaurant “Platform 7” and was able to get a delicious, yet healthy meal. If I ever have the opportunity to return, I’ll have to try their baked Alaska and afternoon tea. Perfect place to stay for a theatre, sightseeing, or shopping trip to London..
