Take your beach gear 2 miles to Cedar Beach or go 4.5 miles to Port Jefferson for the best food and entertainment. So many options for dinning and entertainment. You are at the foot of wine country! Host was very accommodating as we were traveling from out of state. Place was very clean and well maintained. We picked this place as it had a fenced in yard. This was one of the few places that allowed pets. Traveling with a pet is challenging and it's great to find a host willing to allow pets. Thank you.

Clean, quiet and a perfect spot to call home with my husband and our teenaged son for a long lacrosse weekend at Stony Brook. Fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog to run around while remaining safe. Miller Place is a quaint town with nice local restaurants and an old fashioned ice cream shop just down the street. We would highly recommend!

Perfect in all ways

Finding a pet friendly place is always a challenge but this was a life changing revelation! Location was perfect family very close by, accommodations superior, including linens & kitchen utilities. Am returning in 3 weeks wish place was available... NO MORE HOTELS while on Long Island, Thank god. I'm a senior and had some difficulty with on-line communications but figured it out. Would have liked a phone #.

Comfy, cozy, and convenient cottage

Cozy Cottage #3 is exactly that! The cottage was perfect for summer getaway with hubby and two dogs. The cottage had all the amenities we needed-full kitchen, tub/shower, good sized bedroom, and comfortable living room. The backyard was fully fenced so we had no worries about the dogs wandering off after the turkeys we saw strutting down the road. Our stay was stress free due to easy checking in and out and responsiveness of our host Rob. We will definitely book again.

Perfect Location

We had a family event and instead of staying with friends or a hotel we chose this cottage that was close to all. Growing up in central Suffolk County my siblings, nieces and nephews chose Port Jeff to meet and my husband and I were 4.5 miles away. Also visiting friends and family in Ronkonkoma and West Babylon. It was such easy access to get everywhere we needed to go during our 4 day stay. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. We drove to Cedar Beach to see the sunset, drove out to Orient Point and had a nice days drive unwinding and connecting as we get very little alone time these days. It’s a quiet neighborhood and has a privacy fence that was perfect to sit on the deck and enjoy the chilly morning with a cup of coffee. We will be back again and I will share with my parents to book as well since they are always looking for somewhere to stay when visiting from Florida! Great place Rob! Thank you for all you created for those of us who love to stay in a private space.

Thanksgiving Week

This is our second time staying at one of Rob's properties. We loved the cottage, which had everything we needed! I think the only thing that would make it better is a Solo Stove in the backyard for the cooler fall evenings! We had a great stay, and we will return!

Rob, our property host, provided one of the most memorable lodgings that has been our experience. Our cottage (#3) exceeded all our requirements and expectation.
