“Reception staff were disorganised. We had 2 rooms booked - one was a larger king and the other a twin. We were directed to the wrong room. After repacking and finding the correct room the a/c was not working. Engineer never appeared as promised and after a further call a receptionist came to say he couldn’t fix it. We were promised a second fan which never arrived. The twin room was set up as a double despite requesting a twin. Both rooms were a long way apart despite asking for them to be close……

“We love visiting this unique hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The lido is spectacular. Our annexe room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The addition of a fridge in the room was very welcome.”

“We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it. “I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”
