「The hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night of our stay and we were disappointed because we planned on eating there. I guess I should have checked the restaurant hours before booking. Most of the town had businesses that were closed in the middle of the week, so just be aware when you book. 「This is a lovely property overlooking the Hudson. The room was very clean and the host was helpful and responsive. The property is being renovated and I cant wait to see it when it is finished. There is a great restaurant, Kips Taven, which is right next door. I would be remiss not to add that is right next to the train station and you can hear the train and the horn. You may want to stay at the other side of the hotel if you are a light sleeper.」

「The location of this hotel is excellent. However, there was blood on the bathroom floor, stains on the sheets, and the fridge reeked of beer. When we asked the maintenance crew to give us five minutes to get out of the room, the cart was outside our door so we assumed that they would return and change the towels. They did not. The gentleman who checked me in was lovely; however, there was no one in the office when we checked out.」
