“The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and the staff was friendly. Great location and it felt like a safe environment, which I really liked. The only bad thing is the train; it passes very close by, blows its horn very loudly, and makes it difficult to sleep. That is the only downside”

The receptionist—Phoenix, I think her name was—was not friendly at all; she charged an extra fee for parking that wasn't mentioned in my reservation. Also, I had booked an "extended" room, but they gave me the smallest one. I went back to tell her that it wasn't an extended room—since I’d stayed in one before—but she insisted it was and claimed there were no other……

“The lobby was great, looked beautiful. Check it was easy. The room was okay. The bed though was disgusting. The sheets had stains and the comforters were torn and stained. Maybe old blood stains? Maybe old food or sweat stains? The bedding belonged in the trash. The pillows were small and super lumpy. There is no water pressure, brushing teeth was a pain and showering was horrible. Would I stay here again? Probably not.”

“Great, friendly staff. We really liked them. We were disappointed in the a/c in our room. It never really got down to “sleeping temperature,” which is in the 60s for us. We were also disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom. As a family of blondes, it was not exciting to find multiple long dark hairs in the towels, wash cloths, and shower. The towels and linens also had some unfortunate staining. I’m sure they were clean, but it didn’t look inviting. Other than those things, it wasn’t a……

“This Embassy Suites was so very clean. The rooms were perfect and the breakfast is always a highlight. There were 3 other events that we knew of going on there but we always felt safe and free to walk around.”
