“The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Case Benita! Our room was so cute and cozy, with thoughtful decor and an incredible view — especially at sunset. We arrived right at the end of the season, so it was very quiet (almost felt like we had the place to ourselves!), which made it even more relaxing. The hosts were so kind, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the breakfast delivery — ordering by phone was so easy, and the Nutella waffle was amazing! “The owner here, Branco, is a great guy and very helpful. The only problem is that the property is about a mile or so from the Hvar Old Town so you either have to rent a car or walk the whole distance, which isn't terribly safe. The hotel has two small swimming pools but nothing was entirely open when I stayed there in late April. Apparently, things really heat up during the summer where I imagine there are more things to do.”

“We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town……

“Good view, and good host”

“This was a perfect location for a visit to Hvar if you don’t want to be on the beach. We were amongst all the historical and beautiful cobblestone streets and within steps of the waterfront, the old city, etc. Hvar is not very big, so everything is easy to get to. The room was small, but efficient. There was a decent size closet and a small desk, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was lovely on the outside patio. The staff was so helpful and met us at the ferry to carry our bags. It’s a……

The room was not quite as nice or luxurious as it looked in the photos, but overall it was a lovely stay!”

“Beautiful home on the hill with an infinity pool overlooking a private bay. This is a little piece of paradise outside the noise and the hustle and bustle of Hvar town, but only a 10 min drive away. The owner, Tony, is very friendly and accommodating and will drive you to town for 13 euros each way. It is about a 45 minute walk. Very secluded and peaceful! Perfect for a romantic get away or for families, but come prepared as there is nothing near by but 2 quite pricey restaurants. ”
