「This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a kitchen area (as well as in the room) and an honesty bar. All are decorated to a 5-star standard. 「What a lovely find in Pembroke! John is a fantastic host with plenty of interesting stories, and the property has a wonderful family history that adds to its charm. He's thoughtfully modernised it to meet guests' needs, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. 「Rooms 1 and 7 were clean and comfy. No. 1 was stuffy (possibly due to hot weather and no air con) and smelt of cooking . No. 7 was cooler but affected by traffic noise as there was a fair amount of traffic throughout the night. Not ideal for light sleepers. Can’t comment on the meals as we didn’t eat there.
