Beautiful lake house

The house is well appointed and beautifully located. We enjoyed the kitchen and comfortable sitting areas. Beds were comfortable and the other furnishings inviting. We especially appreciated extras like spices, condiments, and the wide variety of cookware and appliances. The only regret was that the darts were not in good repair. Overall we had a great time.

Great family weekend stay

Great place to stay!

Our stay at this property was great! The house was clean and fully furnished (kitchen had every utensil we needed and more!). The house had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. which was great. The hosts were very easy to work with and let us check in early. Overall, great experience!

Family wedding

Our niece's wedding was at Carlos Creek Winery. This was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. It was very spacious, very clean and lots of amenities. We had a bonfire Saturday night. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, modern, perfect!! Went with the plan of getting my 7 yr old to enjoy fishing. Plan succeeded! The home was great! Modern kitchen, homeowner was super friendly & inviting.

Quiet, Peaceful

Spent a week here, this listing was as described, house was clean, accessible. Had everything as described in the listing. Miltona is a awesome lake and offers all day fun. Would definitely recommend this property

A nice getaway

We had cloudy weather all week. Went into Alec, took in the Runestone Museum, shopped, walked, and had some ice cream. We played outdoor games, indoor games, and had a great visit. Thank you!

Nice house in Miltona

House was very nice, clean and well kept. The walk to the lake is not too bad. I suggest a golf cart for moving cooler etc to and from the boat. Lake was low in water level but still able to get boat in and out of the dock. We enjoyed our stay!

Fishing trip

The house was great, lots of room. Julie and Steve were very responsive to questions prior to arrival and suggestions for things in the area. Only thing I can recommend is a couple fans for the basement rooms. We hope to stay there again!

Very Nice Home

We had a great time spent with family. The house was very close to the lake. We did drive to the public access spot because that seemed like a better option than the lake access point closer to the house (short walk but very weedy). We didn’t mind packing our stuff up and driving tho. We enjoyed time spent swimming and hanging out at the house! Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful Home with Many Amenities

We were so lucky to find this place! We were in town for a family wedding, so unfortunately had no time to enjoy the lake. But it's the perfect family home. It is spacious, comfortable, with lovely furnishings, including comfy beds and soft towels. There are many thoughtful amenities throughout -- staples in the pantry, Kuerig cups, condiment packets, toiletries people tend to forget. Plus, it's in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood. We hope to be back for a longer stay! Our sincere thanks to the hosts.

Great place for a getaway

Our son was getting married at Carlos Creek Winery and we needed a place to stay that was close by. A 15 min drive made this very convenient. The house was very comfortable with all the modern conveniences. It had a double oven and one oven was not working, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The main suite was lovely. The lower bedrooms were very nice and spacious, I wish they would have had queen size beds so 2 adults could comfortably sleep. All in all I would highly recommend this lovely home!

Nice house near Lake Miltona

The owner, Julie, was super nice and responsive to questions before and during our stay. Listing was accurate so no surprises when we arrived. Master bedroom and bath was awesome, lower bedrooms were full mattresses so a bit small for the other couples that stayed with us, but the foldout couch was a queen that fit 3 kids. Great kitchen and the welcome kit was a nice touch. It is clear in the listing, but note that this property is not on the lake; it has a dock nearby down the road. Would highly recommend!

Carlos Creek Wine Stomp

We had another great year at you VRBO. Hope we left it as requested. The house is just the right size for our girls weekend And not far from Carlos Creek. We also love Jim and Judy's down the road. So glad there are still those small family owned businesses. The weather cooperated. Lots of stories, jokes and laughter was had by all. Oh yes! Wine drinking too!

Fishing trip

We love the location, garage setup,and fish cleaning area in garage. Multiple visits over the years. Disappointing cooking equipment. Frying pan should be thrown away. non stick pan from Walmart would be a huge improvement. Lights on property all seem so dim for today's led availability. Downstairs shower hasn't worked for the last 2 years. Instructions for tv and only streaming availability for us older people was a bummer. Had 2 go 2 bar 2 watch game 7 of Timberwolves. Newly installed oven was not functioning. Mosquitoes were awful. for 3 nights maybe property could be fogged? Deck had dead leaves on it,where could that come from in may?

Nothing short of AMAZING

Not sure where to begin on the excellent stay we had at this beautiful Lake home. Our family stayed here for the Thanksgiving Holiday and we were truly impressed with how well our stay was. Check in was painless, the home is in immaculate condition, very well maintained. Although the aesthetics were pleasing, it still had such a homey, comfortable vibe. It came FULLY stocked with laundry, pots and pans, lots of dishware, serving platters, blender, coffee maker, wine/cognac glasses, games, I'm not kidding this place has everything! The pantry even has little fiddles for cooking or baking on a whim in case the stores ae closed when you arrive. There is a brand spanking new cooktop in the home, and we cooked our entire Thanksgiving meal. Most people wont be cooking such an extravagant meal, but in the event you do *pay close attention to the temps and keep an eye on your food in the even you need to adjust it *dont use scrubbers or anything abrasive on the stovetop, you dont want to scratch the beautiful surface *clean that stove up immediately lol there are magic erasers above the washer and dryer that worked great to bring the shine back *and lastly, the ventin the middle can be removed and cleaned as well, so don't forget to wash that and dry it before you put it on the stove❤️ We loved everything about the home, the hosts, and our stay. There is even a Wine/Brewery nearby, and lots of shopping in Alexandria like 20mins away. We look forward to booking this home again!
