The location is remote and that is a big part of the appeal, but come prepared with provisions as there’s no need to leave :) We keep saying and how lucky we were to get to stay at such a special place…. "当日は、雨が降りあまり観光ができませんでしたので、早めに着きましたが、チェックインすることができました。助かりました。わかりにくい場所でしたが、丁寧な案内を連絡していただきスムーズにつくことができました。宿泊施設は、台所用品や入浴剤など家庭で必要なもの（ホットプレートなど）は、使用しませんでしたが、なんでもそろっており助かりました。翌日は、晴天で景色は最高でした。いろいろと対応していただきありがとうございました。"

The property photos — many items shown are old, broken, or completely unusable. There was no outdoor lighting, and the glasses were dusty and poorly maintained. 10/10 Excellent

"We loved our authentic Japanese vacation stay. Fireworks were a surprise we had not expected. Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. Onsen was a new experience for us being Canadian but now we love it and will miss this relaxing ritual."

"The hotel has excellent facilities, in particular with private outdoor hot spring water bath, which is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent, but little too expensive. The hotel also has shuttle bus to the train station. Some facilties need proper maintainence, such as basin. Cleaness could be improved. Overall, this is a good hotel."
