Beautiful view VRBO

The home had all the amenities you could want. Especially the kitchen. The hosts were available as needed. The only thing that could be changed is the kitchen chairs which were not comfortable.

Great relaxing weekend in a wonderful house

We enjoyed our few days by the lake, with the kayaks and hot tub. Everything in the house was well taking care of. We would stay there again !

Wonderful house and location

The property was unbelievable! We used every bit of it, from the kayaks and paddle boards, to the grill, hot tub, both decks, and fire pit. The lake access and views were amazing during our stay. The peace and quiet was also quite a wonderful surprise. We even saw an albino squirrel in the trees by the house! Thanks again - you have a great property!

Close enough to the cities, far enough away to relax!

We can't say enough good things about our stay here in early May '24. A couple small inconveniences were solved by the property manager immediately, very quick response and solution. Bring your rod, I caught (and released) some largemouth and pike in the reed beds from the dock, and our short commute on the Sunday to Target Field was 20 min with little traffic. Surrounded by golf courses, restaurants, grocery stores but still feels peaceful by a beautiful lake. Would love to stay here again!

Private property with large backyard

Our family of 9 stayed in this home and we were very comfortable. Sleeping areas are spread out which is nice. The backyard is very large and has a nice dock for lake access. There is not a beach area. There are lots of outdoor games and water toys to choose from. The property is very secluded and the lake is beautiful. The living area downstairs was nice and large for our family to gather and play games. It was very nice to have access to the garage to park. A few things that could be improved: There was a smell downstairs. Not sure if this was from the carpet or ? It wasn't bad enough that we couldn't spend time down there. There are mini-splits for air conditioning but it took awhile to get the house cooled down. It would be nice to have some fans available for air flow. We were expecting a kids high chair and kids toys as listed in the description, but they were not available. We only had 2 kitchen towels and 1 roll of paper towels. It would have also been nice to have some extra on hand. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very spacious and there are plenty of activities. It is also a great location in the cities.

Clean, quiet, pretty yard & water view, close to everything

Likes include: cozy basement, nice TVs, garage access for our vehicle, fire pit & smores bar (even though we didn’t use), deck & furnishings were modern and the deer that visited every evening at dusk. Nearby the restaurant Oliver’s was good, it is close to many other restaurants and easy to access other areas from. Dislikes: bit overpriced for the age & details of home—2 of 3 are small bathrooms, some cracked mini blinds, uncomfortable King bed (too soft, cheap sheets etc), train tracks right next to property (train came through at 8:50am), major visible power lines in yard, dock was removed already for season, entrance to home is on the side—if you don’t go through garage (which it would be nice if a remote was included during stay to put it up & down) then you have to walk in grass and it could be tricky in bad weather and there are lots of Ring camera/sensor/lights—we have them at home so aware of how they work—just doesn’t promote the level of privacy we prefer, especially using the hot tub and fire pit so we opted not to. Issue with garage code not working and Red Awning did not provide the local contacts info in email, only theirs, so had to wait for their response that didn’t come—had to then text them and they could not help so texted with owner—he was extremely nice and responsive. Overall, it’s a nice clean home that has been updated a great deal and has a nice yard with water view. It would be a great spot for a group of people as there is many areas to hang out. The owners are friendly and nice and it’s a quiet place within the metro—just a little too pricey for what you get in my opinion.
