「Poor location. Manager speaks no English. The rooms he gave us were not ready -- no electricity. Contrary to the ads, there is no wifi or breakfast. The good news is that the owner agreed to drop one night of our reservation as well as reducing the price」

「I need to check-in in the mid-night for some reason. But thanks for the staffs. She still open the door for us. Hotel is clean is comfortable. They have hair dry (not much Sri Lanka hotel have hair dry) Breakfast is amazing! 」

「Séjour dans un cadre superbe. Par contre le dîner accompagné d'insectes et autres moustiques et bestioles, a été un des pires moments. Mésaventure concernant le règlement. Nous avons réglé la totalité à notre départ et on s'est fait débité le règlement une nouvelle fois sur la carte qui a servi de réservation. C'est vraiment très limite et surtout incompréhensible. Nous avons appelé l'hôtel hier qui nous a confirmé un remboursement que nous surveillons, et bien entendu, nous n'hésiterons pas...

「Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

「The standout from this place was the pool. Easily the best to date in Lanka. It runs directly East to West so has the sun permanently on it, making it lovely and warm. It also appears in very good nick so I would guess is relatively new. The room was pleasantly adequate with no complaints. The odd thing was there was no reception as such so to find someone, I discovered ‘hollering’ ended up being the best way. Location is definitely Marmite with peace, quite and seclusion giving it a glowing...
