We've rented larger VRBO properties on the Baytowne golf course in the Sandestin Resort area in the past...and 466 Linkside Village was the best. It was perfect size for our family of 5 and the back deck (with soaking pool) on the small lake was so much better than being on a golf course. Very tranquil and private and perfect for morning coffee or afternoon read. We also enjoyed the provided golf cart (which is a must in this area) and the proximity to the ocean. Great property we will book again in the future!

Very nice gated neighborhood with a golf course and small private pool. The house was equipped with all the necessary facilities. Check in and check out was simple. I wish the entry to the gated community was more detailed in the booking but the security handled it well. The golf cart was perfect for a quick ride to the beach.

After an unfortunate accident at our previously booked VRBO. We did a frantic search for a new VRBO in less than 24 hours and we were so fortunate to have turned up this rental, we are so glad it worked out! It was the PERFECT home for us to stay in. It was so clean, easy to access, and after a funny hunt for the golf cart keys, which ended up being at eye level, we felt like we were home. Our 5 yr LOVED feeding the turtles and ducks right off the deck. And oh did they mention a pool?? It was such a great surprise and perfect size for some pool fun after the beach!!! The owners were so helpful, even fetching us a new fan after we found the previous one in pieces. The company they use to take care of the property were so incredibly helpful! We are so so glad we stayed at 466 linkside and would recommend it time and time again!!!

A beautiful place

We just spent 2 nights at this house and it was wonderful!! It was even better than what we anticipated. The plunge pool was a big hit after a long day at the beach, and we loved sitting on the deck watching the turtles and ducks.

Perfect place for a getaway!

Loved the stay! My favorite part was the back patio and the small pool. I also loved the property pools in the area. Can get around the property by the golf cart! It was perfect! I also love that the turtles know when you are on the balcony! Hahaha! Take a little fish food or something, they love the treats!

The home was just as stated. Loved waking up looking over the pond from master bedroom, living room and deck. We never had to leave the community. My mother and father in law enjoyed the stay, we all were relaxed and enjoyed our stay! We definitely will book again! The Host was more then accommodating.

Sisters weekend

We come every year for sister time. We always stay in Sand Destin. We love this area and feel safe. This house show signs of wear. It could use a good updating. The furniture/beds has served it purpose and could use some new. Love the golf cart and it held its charge. Enjoyed the view from the deck and used it several mornings. Thank you an enjoyable time.

Great location, cozy home!

We enjoyed the location of this unit. It’s a short golf ride to The Village at Baytown, Publix, great restaurants, and the beach! It does need some updating in terms of decor, furniture, and countertops but that was the least of our concerns for this vacation. The pool is small but perfect for an afternoon or nighttime plunge. The unit was very clean and extremely comfortable. The golf cart operated well and we didn’t have any problems with the unit while visiting. The deck overlooks a small pond, complete with ducks and turtles (not a lot of fish for fishing).I would highly recommend staying here. It was perfect for our family (2 kids ages 8 & 9)!

Great house in a really excellent area. The little pool on the deck was excellent. Overall we would definitely come again. Only small issues: Some areas looked a little tired, and the sofa bed was not very comfortable for an adult.

We had an amazing stay. We love the Dustin area and staying at Sandestin is always amazing. This villa was a great place to stay. The pool was amazing to have on the deck and the golf cart was great to have to drive around. We’ve already looked at booking next year.

The pool needed cleaned when we got there and there was some issues with the hot water. The hot water was addressed. We felt a bit watched as the “owner” met us before we got our things in the door. Overall, the pictures reflect what it is.

Simply okay

My husband booked this place while being deployed, (first issue, I’ll be planning for next trip), the property was “ok” gave late 80s early 90s vibes. Out dated couch, bed was very firm and had one of grandmothers fleece blankets under the sheets(kinda odd). The property itself was inside a gated community on a golf course , retirement feels if you will. The beach was about a 10 min drive considering the traffic and intersections. Golf cart was provided and did have a great get-up-i go; but was not feasible to take to public beach area. There was a plethora of “ground rules”,and fees. Second day was woken up at 7am to construction crew right outside bedroom wall doing concrete work beside house. Will say, the soaking pool was nice to have at night however,way to hot to use during day time. We did our best to stay at the beach or outside of property. The beach and town itself was amazing. Found a fantastic seafood place. Would not recommend for young married couple, or small family with kids.

Economic rental

The house was outdated but very clean. The refrigerator did not stay cold. I did contact managers and they sent someone right over. However, it did not stay cool enough to even keep milk overnight. The “owner/golf cart/pool keeper” Jerry would show up giving instructions & how to’s for golf cart. He was very nice but it was a little creepy how often he came. We enjoyed the little pool perfect for small children!

Beautiful property

The house is in a great location, and it has everything you need. The property management communicates well, check in was a breeze! The pool is great, and the golf cart makes everything super convenient. There’s so many amenities you don’t need to leave the community! We will be back to stay again in the future!

Nice quiet area, everything as advertised.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The golf cart was very handy and the small pool on the deck was wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The building was a bit dated, but that was to be expected. Only complaint was that there did not seem to be much hot water for multiple showers.

Nice location, golf cart a plus, great deck !

This is our 14th year to the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort community. There were no surprises to the description of the listing it was very clean, well kept and had a lot of little extra amenities. We always get a property with a golf cart so this was a deal breaker for us. It worked well even though it’s pretty old it got us where we needed to go. The deck on the back of the house was nice as we grilled out a couple nights and had dinner in the deck with the fountain in the bay amd the sunset it was perfect !! We liked the location and walked to Baytowne wharf every morning from the house and it a little over 3 miles ! The homeowner stopped by and we had a nice chat with him as well, very nice. Would recommend this property for. a family of 4 or less.

Linkside stay

This property was great! Great view and had everything we needed— cleaning supplies, Tupperware and Ziploc bags, welcome basket of coffee and little dunkers, there were a couple of beach chairs and umbrella, and even a cooler! And the refrigerator had an ice maker. I’m not sure why there were negative reviews about the lack of things provided… I brought some of my own after reading, just in case, but I felt that anything I needed was there. The golf cart was also an awesome amenity! It was nice that grocery delivery was permitted, so that was a convenience for us, too.

Nicely renovated house in the older part of Sandestin. We prefer the older area with larger yards and outdoor living areas . Having an outdoor pool/hotub was perfect for our 3 year old. Furnishings were comfortable and clean . Would definitely stay there again
