The little gift boxes in the bathrooms and kitchen was a nice touch. The golf cart was great to get around the resort so you didn’t have to take your car everywhere. The only complaint is there is no assigned parking for your car only the golf cart.

Fun getaway with many things close by

The property was well-maintained and featured plenty of room for my family. The overall communication and ease of getting info was great and maybe the best of anywhere we have stayed. The inclusion of beach chairs and the golf cart made getting to and from the beach everyday a breeze. It was a perfect fit and a perfect place to stay to enjoy Destin, Miramar beach and the surrounding area. One small note would be the glass end table by the dinner table has very sharp edges and may need bumpers on both ends. My daughter cut her hip on there walking by it, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Overall we loved the place and would definitely stay there again as well as recommend to friends.

Great stay

Great stay for my family, great communication with the owners when we had a question. Only a couple of small things to fix nothing major just list where to place the trash at the end of your stay and where exactly the beach supplies are located in the rental agreement because we did not use the closets in the bedrooms, so we did not find them until the end of our stay. Also, a shuttle map would be great showing where the pick up is close to the rental. We didn’t know where that was exactly. A map of the resort would also be helpful to get around because we had not been to the resort before, and maybe list where you can use the discount cards. Overall, we would stay here again. The owners were great hosts. The golf cart was convenient, beach very close, and the resort had a little bit of everything.

Great place and location

Very clean, great location, loved having the golf cart to travel the resort in. Only con is the parking sometimes we had a spot in front of our home and sometimes we had to park away and walk to the home. Other than that which was a small inconvenience great place, will rent again!

Great getaway

This was the perfect size townhome for our family vacation getaway. The property was well maintained and comfortable. The lake view was great for early mornings and late evenings. The kids enjoyed watching the turtles in the lake. The golf cart was an added bonus for getting around the property to the shoppes, beach, and property amenities. The only downside was the lack of parking available.

Having a golf cart provided was amazing and allowed easy access to Baytowne Wharf and the beach without having to take our car! The kitchen came fully stocked with kitchen items that we needed during our stay. Everything was perfect! We will definitely be going back!

Attracted to unit because it had a golf cart. Golf cart battery died just going to Wharf and back on our first full day. Never provided a substitute. WiFi did not work entire week. Clean but stains on couch and fairly outdated Will not be back.

2BR 2.5Bath with Lakeview

This delightful space was everything we hoped and more. Our grand daughter was thrilled with her room and on suite bath. Our room was relaxing and as lovely as the pictures portrayed. The living and kitchen spaces were perfect for the three of us. Well appointed and cozy. The pool was close by and always very clean. The beach was so crowded and since we weren’t Sandestin guests we paid more for setups and couldn’t charge drinks or food to our room. (We’ve always stayed at Westwinds so all of these things were a surprise) None of the negatives mentioned would prevent us from renting this space again The couches could use cleaning and the downstairs bathroom and stairway occasionally smelled of sewage even though we didn’t use it at all. We loved the convenience of the golfcart! Thanks so much for a nice getaway with our little one.

Summer Vacay

Our first impression was not good as we walked up to the front door. The gas grill was next to the door. The front patio was full of water toys, beach chairs, inflatables, golf cart cover, etc. It was junky looking compared to the other villas. The beach flag that was for decoration was ripped and a bit of trash was in the bushes. The property was “updated” in a less than ideal way. There were unfinished edges, patches of unmatched paint, and it made the villa look cheap. The second bedroom had no ceiling light or fan. With the Florida heat, we really needed circulation in that room. The blinds were not correctly fitted for the window, so light was constantly shining in the room adding heat and at night we were afraid to change clothes because people could see in. The patio furniture consisted of 4 iron chairs and a table. The iron chairs had no seat cushions and were very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy morning coffee. The small patio does face a lake. The end of the lake we were facing was full of moss/algea and some trash. We stayed 7 nights and the trash was there the entire time. The parking situation was a nightmare. You only get one spot, but it’s difficult to find a place to park. You aren’t guaranteed a spot. The golf cart was a plus and we used it daily. I would not stay at the particular villa again.

Great place to stay!

This property was in the perfect location for my 14 yr old son and I to slip away for fall break. The golf cart made it easy to get back and forth to the beach, the location made it easy to get out of the resort quickly and effortlessly, the vicinity to everything was just perfect. I've been coming to Sandestin for over 20 years, this was the first time that we stayed in the Beachside Villas and we will be back! I should also throw in that being super close to the restaurants in the market was a huge bonus for my always hungry son! 10/10!

Relaxing and fun location

Recently stayed with my fiancé and two children, ages 10 and 11. We had a great time, the golf cart was an awesome addition as you could travel to the beach, baytowne, Putt-putting, multiple food options and a little shopping all from the golf cart. The check in process was easy and my vacation haven has an app with any messages, updates, check in and check out process and more, very easy to do. The house was clean and looked recently updated, the only thing I will say is when we ran the washer and dryer it seemed to cause a bad smell in the house. Our clothes came out clean and didn’t smell so it wasn’t a huge deal, just kind of annoying to have to smell. The water off the back patio has a lot of wildlife and you’re allowed to fish, my fiancé enjoyed catching a few bass. Overall, no complaints we had a very nice time and would stay again!

Spring Break Finale

Wonderful location. Cannot praise the team of My Vacation Haven enough-we had minor problems of connecting to Internet and having tram passes. Internet solution was given within 20 minutes of arrival and personal delivery of passes. I got a phone call confirming that all was fixed. We are beach people and will definitely consider a return trip!
