Cute but needed more.
Every traveler has bags and coats. We shouldn't have to search for a place to put our bags off the floor. We all have bathroom stuff, couldn't all fit on back of toilet no where to put but on the floor. Shower mat kind of slippery. Towel had stain. Living room chairs were horribly uncomfortable. Couch was good but couldn't get the tv working well. Didn't care for dead animal motif. Thank you for the beer by the way:) You might try pretending your a traveler. Come in carrying heavy bags, needing a comfy place to sit. Slept good, wind was exciting, train sounds were comforting.

Kathleen, I am sorry to hear what you experienced. Thanks for letting me know about the issues you had in the rental. We will make sure the bathmat gets cleaned more thoroughly and we will install a table in the wall for travelers to put their toiletries. I didn't know the towel had a stain, thank you for pointing this out. I'm sorry the living room chairs were uncomfortable; it's hard to find chairs that fit this area but I will continue to look for something more relaxing. And I'm sorry you couldn't get the tv to work. I will try rewriting the instructions in the house manual to make it more clear. If there is anything else we can work on, please let me know. Cute Missoula Apt.
This property was nothing short of amazing. It was clean, well kept, provided everything we needed. It was perfect walking distance from the University. Access and instructions were easy to follow. The bed was so comfortable and a sound machine/ear plugs were provided which was so thoughtful! It was a busy weekend in Missoula but we did not have any issues with parking. So cute and cozy, we will definitely be using this place again in the future!

Highly Recommend ~ Perfect Place & Location
The Jefferson House was the perfect place and the best location just for me! It was quaint, cozy, clean and convenient for my first trip to Montana and my first VRBO! I choose this place because I was doing the Missoula Half-Marathon, I was traveling solo and everything was close and walkable (i.e, restaurants, race start/finish, coffee, etc.) and the airport was only about 12 mins away. I had no issues with the house and barely used anything that was available because I stayed out most of the time. The guidelines and information provided for the house were on point and I appreciated them. It's important to me whether or staying in a hotel or someone's home to abide by their rules, keep your surroundings tidy and be a good guest. The owner Megan stayed in contact with me and answered any questions I had, but I wish I had more time to chat with her because she was truly the sweetest person. Thank you for allowing me to stay at the beautiful Jefferson House! If you are looking for the perfect location for a trip to Missoula, I highly recommended the Jefferson House.

Lovely Apartment
The apartment is located close in to Downtown Missoula. It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! There were a couple of things I wish I had known. I did not bring slippers so the stone/concrete floor was quite cold. I would have loved a small dresser or cubby for my folded items but made use of the extra hangers in the closet. There was a discrepancy between VRBO and the PDF related to parking. VRBO said park in the back. I truly love the home and hope to stay there again. Next time I will be more prepared. Also, please check the TV instructions. The Apple TV must be new? Thank you for your thoughtfulness. We were not missing anything we needed.

Meg and Anders Save the Day!
We loved the location and the cute duplex. Pleasant walking distance to downtown and the University. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with local craft beer and excellent snacks! Then on our second day, Meg and Anders had the misfortune of a minor dryer fire on their side of the duplex. The smoke caused us and them to leave. Meg and Anders insisted they put us up in a really great hotel nearby and right in downtown. They covered the sizable hotel bill and couldn't have been more gracious. Absolutely over-the-top incredible. Again, INCREDIBLE.

Great location for downtown access
We had a wonderful stay. The listing was exactly as described. It was cozy and well planned out. There were some very nice touches our host included, that made it even more personal. The location to downtown was perfect for walking, which we did several times a day. The location was also great for drives to see the Bitterroot Valley and Seeley Lake. We enjoyed our stay and especially the closeness to downtown. Thank you!

Perfect place for visit with our UMT child
My husband and I flew into Missoula to help our UMT daughter move into her new apartment. Meg was completely helpful in giving recommendations and allowing our daughter to spend one night in the apartment on the futon. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathtub was a welcome sight after hours of moving. We especially appreciated the white noise machine and ear plugs placed next to the bed, in case of the nearby train passage. (We found the white noise machine to be especially helpful.) Overall, a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay!

Weekend in Missoula
My spouse and I added Missoula to our vacation in Montana. We stayed 2 nights and weren’t disappointed. The location of the Jefferson House was a perfect walk to downtown. It easy to access and very comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend and it was perfect for our needs.

This clean, cute home was perfectly located for our Missoula adventures. Walking distance to downtown, close to trails and a great coffee shop right around the corner. We also enjoyed the arrival gift of local craft beers from our hosts on the back patio! Great after a long hot drive.

Great Stay
This property was ideal for our trip to Missoula. Walking distance from downtown, fast and easy communication from the owners, very cute and clean property. We were only there for a night, but it seemed well equipped for longer stays. Perfect space for a couple. Only down side we found is that the walls are pretty thin, but it didn’t impact our stay. Short Stay in Missoula
Beautiful little property. Owners had cooler available and even some local craft beer. Location was within 3 blocks of historic downtown Missoula. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee, bars and shops! Will fully recommend and hope to come back soon!

Cute place for two of us. Big enough for a child too. Everything we needed was there and as advertised. Walking distance to some key drinking and dining establishments for those able to handle moderate physical activity. Or it’s a very short drive to most things downtown. Right around the corner from Black Coffee Roasting Co, great coffee and pastries and a nice environment.

Easy walk to downtown
Cute apartment with a well-stocked kitchen and bath. We loved that it was a short walk to shop, eat, or grab a beer at one of the local pubs. The book our hosts left had great suggestions (including the tip about the great coffee shop just around the corner). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely stay at Jefferson House
We stayed here for a week, a senior couple enjoying our first visit to Missoula since our son moved here almost 3 years ago. The apartment was in a great location, within walking distance of downtown and Greenough Park, an oasis within the city. It was cozy and well equipped. We were able to comfortably host our son and his girlfriend for dinner. The bed was just right. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent choice for Missoula! With free beer
Cozy spacious APT, near the River, the university, and a shopping center. Walkable to Missoula downtown and very reasonably priced. Excellent value comparing to a tiny hotel room. Kind and friendly owners. Seperated entrace provided excellent privacy. Enjoyed the local beer in the frig. AC or something else for the whole house is right outside bedroom window and can be noisy when running. You will find earplugs on the night stand though. It was manageable.

Short stay but very sweet!
The house was so clean & Meg was amazing to communicate with - very prompt and kind. The space was perfect for the one night my daughter & I stayed while moving her into her sorority house. I hope to be able to visit again & for a bit longer next time. :)
