View was beautiful, ocean fun but pool was poopy! The staff didn’t seem to mind and told us not to worry there’s bleach. There was poop at the bottom of the pool when we tried to go for a swim. There was also sand in our bed, and the children wanted to sleep on top of the blanket. Then we were accused of lying about occupancy in front of our three kids and told we needed to leave or they’d call the police. Nothing says relaxing family vacation like your 10-year-old thinking you’re about to be arrested for using the hotel hot tub you paid $250 to enjoy. The manager later apologized and said it was all a misunderstanding, which we appreciated. Nothing quite wraps up a luxury stay like pool poop, sandy sheets, and clearing your name before checkout. Other than these unfortunate happenings we had a wonderful time with our family and the updated room was beautiful.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. Bed and linen was awesome! Check in was simple. Restaurant hours are strange, but to be expected for the area. Food and drinks at restaurant and bar was delicious. Host Sam and bartender Ryan.. amazing customer service!

We only stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed our visit. Our room offered a beautiful view, and all the staff members we interacted with were very friendly. We appreciated the wooden stairs leading to the beach, although it can be quite a climb if you're not in good shape. However, less than a mile south of the resort, there is a beach access point where you can drive your car right onto the sand. We had a blast driving the truck along the beach near the water's edge. Although we didn't use the spa area, it looked nice. I wasn't aware that I needed to book a reservation for the restaurant in advance, so it was fully booked when I checked in. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it. From the waiting area, the restaurant appeared very nice, with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Website misleading pool hot tub across street no housekeeping unless requested restaurant no longer offers breakfast. Little disappointed. Room seemed newly renovated so very cozy comfy Beautiful sunsets!!! Pet friendly he was actually relaxing as much as we were with the sounds of ocean and birds lovely 😍 moclips farther north of ocean shores so very quiet not all the noise from spring break 😉 not a lot eating options as in shores. Glad we visit the area Seabrook beautiful. When i came with parents 40 year's ago always wanted to revisit. One thing they should change b4 heat of summer. Poop trash at bottom of stairs disgusting smell.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to check into a 1950s fever dream, look no further. The location is a 10/10, but the hotel itself is a solid "Time Machine Broken." Walking into the lobby felt less like a vacation and more like an estate sale. The air had that signature "Grandma’s Attic" musk, and the reception featured a glass cabinet of snacks that I’m fairly certain have been there since the Eisenhower administration. They’re also still trying to make "DVD Rentals" a paid thing. In 2026 Speaking of charges—bring a kidney if you’re bringing a dog. They "allow" pets, but its $$$ The walls in our one-bedroom were made of what I can only assume was high-quality tissue paper. I didn't just hear the people in the parking lot; I’m pretty sure I’m now legally a witness to their divorce proceedings. Pro-tip: Don't be fooled by the photos. 90% of them are of the fancy, overpriced restaurant next door. Also, the "walk" to the beach is actually a vertical mountaineering expedition. We enjoyed the workout, but if you aren’t training for the Olympics, you might just want to wave at the ocean from the parking lot. Joking aside, if you like no frills whatsoever, reasonably clean, and decor from almost 70 years ago, this is for you. For me, the price was way too high for what this place was, and I wish I had known about Seabrook (5mins away) before I booked.

No, the ocean was not visible from my room. There are no pets allowed. The weather got really cold and the stairs developed ice, and I almost slipped and fell, and the girl at the front desk was unbothered by the whole situation and just said she’ll tell her manager, but there was no salt on the premises to keep anybody else from slipping on the stairs, the beds are extremely uncomfortable and the noise is not good either these are the rooms located close to the office. It’s just a bad location maybe the other rooms are OK the more expensive ones, but the cheap rooms are cheap for a reason.
