The front desk staff at this property lacks basic hospitality. Upon arrival, there was no greeting or acknowledgement. When I inquired about checking in 30min early with my child, I was met with a blunt "your room is not ready" and no further info. Later, due to a booking misunderstanding regarding guest count (we had 2 adults, 1 child), we were denied check-in. The staff offered no sympathy or assistance, only stating that our room would be reposted for sale before a refund could be considered. Throughout the exchange, the communication was short, cold and dismissive. There were no "thank yous," "goodbyes," or attempts to provide a welcoming experience. The service here is worse than a budget motel. If you value a warm or professional welcome, I recommend staying elsewhere.

Stayed in one of the renovated rooms. They are nice but attention to detail when cleaned is lacking. Stains on some of the walls and pictures, paint chipped walls, etc. Water pressure in shower is not good. Not sure if there is smoking rooms on site but sheets had a small small smell of smoke. Overpriced for 1 night stay, considering you cant check in until 4pm and have to be out by 11am. Once we checked in at 4pm, we explored the area got back at 8. Restaurant closed at 8 or 9 and we couldnt take advantage of pool/hot tub as it doesnt allow kids for the last hour of it being open, then doesnt open till 10am the next morning and you have to check out by 11. Staff at front counter was nice when we checked in and out. I would consider visiting again but not for 278 a night.

Under no circumstances should anyone stay at the Ocean Crest Resort. My wife booked this property for our family to explore the Washington coast, but arriving left us stunned. The only visible sign said “Resort”—the “Ocean Crest” portion had fallen off. The exterior was alarming, with rotten wood, heavy moss, staining, and widespread decay. This is not a resort by any reasonable definition. At best, it is a neglected motor inn. The advertised spa does not exist, amenities are minimal, the pool is across the street, and bathrooms were closed. Staff shrugged when asked where guests could go. Our double queen suite was deeply unsettling. Floors slanted toward the ocean at roughly three degrees and felt soft underfoot. The balcony was moss-covered, walls and ceilings were damaged, carpets stained, and the room smelled strongly of mildew. Bath water ran black initially, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Management was dismissive, and the manager hung up on my wife. Photos online do not reflect the current condition; surrounding buildings and grounds appear abandoned, superficially repainted, and hastily reopened. This property is unacceptable, unsafe, and unworthy of its advertised status.

I had only 2 minor complaints. The only type of pillow available was feather pillows -- I much prefer synthetic fill. The other was that the cleaning products used were a bit perfumed. I'm sensitive, and it took awhile to air out the room. The good surprise was that our suite had an unadvertised kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, sink and dishes. We'd expected just a coffee maker.

The room was very outdated , no A/C, heater was on when we got there and it was unbearably warm in the room. We were told to open the window , a window where people could walk just by to get to their rooms and where the screen fell out when opening it. No restaurant or food nearby , access to beach by lots of steps or by driving up the road for public access.
