Family Reunion

We come here often and enjoy how very dog friendly it is. Very good beach access and comfortable accommodations. Our room was a bit run down and needs a little TLC. Overall, a very nice stay on the beach.

Worth the price

This property was decent, but a few details could have been worked on. The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, there were no instructions on how to operate the DVD player (so we couldn’t watch the movie we chose from the front office), and there were no instructions on what needed to be done upon check out (even though there was something that said to refer to the checkout list). We loved being close to the ocean (although we wished we could have seen it from our room. We didn’t realize the bottom floor couldn’t see over the dunes). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was worth the price we paid.

Perfect beachfront getaway

This sparkling clean unit was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. We loved the ocean views, the beachfront location, and the well equiped kitchen. The beach at Moclips is gorgeous and it was great to be able to relax in front of the fireplace at the end of the day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

Perfect Location

Love being by the river AND the beach. Property is very quiet and well maintained. Unit was clean spacious and comfortable for us and our two dogs. Highly recommend.

It was way too expensive for what we got!

We were very disappointed. We paid for a Hilton, but got a motel 6! The sink was plugged, the fire place didn't work. The furniture looked like goodwill. It all was very shabby!

Moclips ocean stay

Great location and easy access for walks on the ocean beach and along Moclips River. For a dog friendly unit, we could not see any evidence of prior pets, the unit was very clean and adequately stocked. The ground unit was nice to be able to walk out the sliding doors right onto the lawn with a path through the grasses then onto the beach. All of the staff we met were very friendly and came by daily to supply another Durflame log for the fireplace ( this is the only allowed "wood" to be burned in the fireplace..but was a nice touch) and asked if we needed any extra supplies..(thank you!) The only thing we wished we had was the ability to do laundry. There were none available for public use, although we were told that in Pacific a short drive away at The Sand dollar (might not be accurate spelling) rentals, there were laundry facilities open for public use. Otherwise , an overall great rental!

Don’t forget anything!!!

I left my jewelry box on accident on the bathroom counter and called as soon as we got home a few hours later. The lady was very rude and dismissive. It was two pairs of gold diamond earrings in a box on the bathroom counter next to all of the supplies they refill for the guests there is no way it wasn’t found by the house keeper. She said I don’t need to ask to house keeper because it wasn’t turned in even though I was in tears begging her to look or ask. I kept insisting and calling for days and they said nothing was ever found, It’s insane they just let the house keepers keep whatever they want. They where very expensive anniversary gift from my husband and they didn’t even pretend to care. I pray no else has a human error and forgets anything at this hotel. Zero respect for their guests. Check in was super strange as well, I was Rudely told I was 5 min early to check in and my husband was asked what he was doing there while he was parked in the car outside waiting for me to check in. Skip this place if all possible. Owners don’t care about their guests and let the house keepers steal.

Beautiful Place

The most peaceful place in WA that we’ve ever stayed. Grounds were immaculate, including the trails. I’d stay here again.
