"I loved this place. The rooms were a little small, but their charm easily made up for that. They were immaculately clean and the staff were great. Also, there is so much to do (most of it railroad related) within walking distance! I highly recommend to anybody interested in visiting Lancaster County"

"This place is horrible they have no housekeepers at all no one came to my room on a day before I was supposed to check out they came to my room and said I didn’t pay when I showed them my receipts the staff is rude and will mess over u the prices went up over night extremely high run quick as u can "

"They are currently remodeling so it was a little noisy early in the morning and woke me up at 5:30. We had a beautiful clean room and have stayed here many times. Every thing was clean and breakfast was very good. The staff was not engaging and friendly like they were on all our other trips but other than that the stay was very nice."

"May 11-13, 2026: We miss the 4:00 pm tea time that used to be at this hotel. The staff person said we could turn on the coffee maker and get hot water. Still not the same as tea time used to be, with cookies. Also the hotel had already switched the room temperature control to cooling. However, our RM 104 room was cold. They did give us a small space heater for our 3 day stay after we mentioned we were cold in the room. Finally, the Continental breakfast is medium rated. Pancake batter container was low level and should have been refilled. The hotel is well located for Chadds Ford attractions. I think the draw to customers could be improved by adding back 4 pm tea time and adding more breakfast options. "

"A nice motel-type hotel. Very close to the highway, shopping centers and restaurants. Very friendly and professional staff. Window in the room opens, if one likes fresh air. Air conditioning is also available. Shower was okay, way better than in Wyndham Phili historic district, but not a great strong current one may whish. No hot breakfast, cereals, oatmeal and fruits only. Coffee and hot water in plenty. Fine for staying a few nights. "

"The maze left dirty sheets on the bed and a comforter had blood on it and everything. It was just nasty and dirty the comforters and the sheets on the TV didn’t work not at all. We had to keep going downstairs telling them about the TV and everything but overall everything else was perfect and except for those two."
