“Older motel but well maintained with breakfast available plenty of parking”

“I booked a stay on September 17th for one night due to a work trip on October 3rd. This booking was done weeks in advance. There are limited options in Alturas. I would not usually choose a Super 8 but the reviews were good. I arrived after work at approximately 7:30pm for check in. When I arrived I was given a key for room 209. 1 went to the room, opened the door to a half naked man laying on the bed. I was mortified and immediately closed the door and went back to the front lobby. I was upset……

“Sparse towels were as dirty as shop rags. No shampoo or other basics. Toilet paper had about 1/8 of a roll. I didn't even want to take a shower Food scraps were still around the microwave. Manager was not present when I arrived. Air conditioner worked okay and the TV had movie channels. Next time I will NOT stay at this motel. They could have done better.”

“Very clean and cozy space..10/10!”

“This motel was filthy, the water was brown, even in the shower. The fridge was broken . Would definitely not recommend or stay here again. There also was drug activity going on in the parking lot.”

“Ask for non-smoking if you need it.”
