“I can’t comment on the staff because their check-in just requires you to use your phone number to access the building and your room but the hotel was excellent. The rooms have no outside noise so if you’re a light sleeper, it’s the perfect spot. I got into Portsmouth long before my check-in time so I parked in a nearby garage which ended up costing the same amount that the hotel charges ($40/nt). You’re a block away from all the shops and restaurants and a short walk to Badger’s Island in Maine……

“This was our first time staying at a Courtyard by Marriott. I selected excellent because our stay was much more than good. We chose to book a suit, so we could have a couch to sit on. The bed, bathroom and vanity, closet, refrigerator area was nicely set up. We enjoyed relaxing on the couch in the morning, between outings and in the evening before bed.
