The apartment is situated in a quiet area of Puerto Rico, one of the most popular holiday destinations in southern Gran Canaria. Guests can enjoy easy access to a variety of restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets, and leisure facilities, while still benefiting from a peaceful setting. The nearby Puerto Rico Beach and marina are perfect for relaxing by the sea, enjoying water sports, or joining boat excursions along the coast. Just a short drive away, guests can visit the stunning Amadores Beach, famous for its calm turquoise waters and golden sand, as well as the picturesque fishing village of Puerto de Mogán. The area is ideal for outdoor activities, including hiking, dolphin-watching tours, golf, and coastal walks, making it an excellent base for exploring the beauty of Gran Canaria.

Getting around Puerto Rico in Mogán is fairly straightforward and offers several options for different types of travellers:

On Foot: Puerto Rico is relatively compact, and many of the main attractions, such as the beaches, marina and shopping centres, are within walking distance. The boardwalks and pedestrian streets are perfect for exploring on foot.

Bus: The local bus service, operated by Global, connects Puerto Rico with other points of interest in Gran Canaria, including Mogán, Maspalomas, and Las Palmas. Buses are an inexpensive and frequent option.

Taxi: Taxis are plentiful and convenient for getting around the area quickly or for longer journeys. Fares are reasonable, and taxi ranks are well located in key areas such as shopping centres and hotels.

Car Hire: Renting a car is ideal for those who wish to explore beyond Puerto Rico and visit other parts of Gran Canaria at their own pace. There are several car rental agencies in the area.

Boat/Ferry: From the marina, you can take boat trips to explore the coast, visit other nearby beaches and enjoy activities such as fishing or dolphin watching. There are also ferries connecting Puerto Rico with other points such as Arguineguín and Puerto de Mogán.

Tourist Train: Puerto Rico has a tourist train that runs through the main tourist areas, offering a comfortable and fun way to explore the island.
