The host was easy to contact, and the house was clean and well-stocked! It was a great home base to ski at Mount Bohemia and visit some restaurants in Houghton. The driveway was cleared when we got there which was very convenient. The price was right, too!

Property was as presented in listing. House was very spacious and while an older property, well maintained. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook in after being out all day and relaxing in the living room after dinner to watch a little TV.David was a very responsive host. We would return again.

Wonderful house with a long history. Everything was well cared for, you can tell a lot of work went into making this home a perfect location. The central air was in excellent working order. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed. The stairs to the bedrooms were a bit steep but not overly so. Wifi worked well. The location is perfect as a central location for beaches, hiking, ORV, and runs into Calumet or Houghton for supplies. Communication was great!

Wonderful Home

This was a beautiful home, in a beautiful location. The neighborhood was quiet at night. We were able to access all the different sights we came to see in the Keweenaw peninsula, as this was central enough for all our activities. We had 5 adults, 1 teen and 1 child in our group. There was enough beds for sleeping arrangements. Full bath upstairs with 3 rooms and 1 full standing shower downstairs. Kitchen was very open and we were able to all fit at the dining table. There were 2 tvs downstairs to utilize. The owner was very responsive when I sent a couple of messages about some things to be aware about. We were able to fit two vehicles in the driveway easily. No air conditioning but the rooms upstairs hair stand fans and we opened all windows that we could to let in the wonderful breeze. The breeze was cooling enough that we didn't need ac. Overall, it was a wonderful house. My family said if we come back to this area, they would rent this again in a heartbeat.

Great location in the center of Keweenaw

Two couples and three children stayed for 4 days of atv riding. The location was perfect! Literally a couple blocks to get to the trail. All legal travel for those atv'ers looking for a place. The property was clean, comfortable and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of parking for my F-250 crew cab and 18' trailer as well. My buddy has a Chevy 2500 with 40' trailer that we parked in the grass next to the driveway (arranged with the owner) and there was plenty of room. Communication with the owner (David) was great. He was prompt and offered solutions to everything I ask. I highly recommend staying here.

Great place for skiing at Mt Bohemia

It was pretty spacious and had plenty of room for 8 of us to sleep and hang out. It was a really easy drive to Mt Bohemia for skiing. Just turn out of the driveway and you are there in under 30 minutes.

Updated and comfortable home to stay

The home is very inviting and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The surrounding homes in the area appear to be run down and not as kept up, so we were very pleased that this home has been very well taken care of. You won't go wrong renting this beautiful home if the location is right for your stay.

Wives weekend

2 sets of couples stayed here and it was very accommodating! Having bedrooms upstairs and living room/social areas downstairs, made the noise manageable. Great outdoor fire pit!

Great house in great location in Keweenaw county. We spent a week exploring the Keweenaw and the house is in a nice location to get to most places in the Keweenaw. House was clean with updated bathrooms and equiped with most things needed. Would recommend!

It was a cute renovated older home that had everything we needed, towels, bedding, spices, and dishes. There are fans in each bedroom. It was a convenient location for exploring the area. The owners are responsive.
