「Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... Really there are no minuses」

「The location is awesome. Right behind a church in the old town, only 20 meters from a sea view from atop the wall on the promenade. It was less expensive than other old town options and provided a spot for parking that was about €5 less per day than other options. I'd highly recommend them and would stay there again.」

「Do not stay here. Rooms are very tiny. A “balcony” is simply a walled in outside shaft. Breakfast was beyond terrible- cold omelette, cold scrambled eggs, poor service. The hotel cancelled my confirmed reservation without notifying me. Rebooking resulted in unacceptable room. Better to stay in a nice hotel in the beach and go into the old town for dinner.」

「This hotel is wonderful… it’s old-style hospitality at its best, and very romantic. The grounds, pool and beach are fabulous, and spotless. Breakfast is fresh, varied and plentiful… staff friendly and accommodating. There is a mercato not far from the hotel where you can pick up some deli bits, fresh bread and fruit for lunch on your balcony (room has a fridge). Silvi itself has seen better days - although some decent pizzerias, seafood places and gelateria can still be found on the main drag....
