“The heater in the room had been making the weird sound nearly all night which disrupted my sleep. My other co-workers who stayed during the same period also had the same experience. No safe in the room, no slippers provided. But the service is friendly and reliable. The location is next to major highways exit hence its very convenient.”

“The Suites at 249 was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I was blown away by the decor of the Violetta suite, which was exactly my taste. I didn’t expect such a modern and updated venue to be in historic Culpepper. Parking was easy and it seemed to be in an ideal location even though I was there for only one night.”

“Amazing stay, convenient to downtown shops and dining. Self serve from beginning to end. Sharing the Bathroom wasn’t an issue or an inconvenience . On street parking was safe. There a a carport to with charging capacity for EVs. Continental breakfast was fresh and delightful. Game room, gardens and full kitchen at the guest disposal. All rooms lock with a code for extra security. Street noise was quiet after 10 pm and before 6am. Hostess responsive to texts; price was competitive and yet……

“My partner and I stayed here to visit Shenandoah National Park and it was a great location that is very close to the park. The host gave us privacy and there was a separate entrance into the space.”

“We wanted to get away to do some business planning for the year. Perfect location to not go far, but feel like we were away so we could focus. Had some great conversations around the fire pit! Open kitchen and living room layout made it easy to prepare dinner and keep the conversation rolling.”

“The room smelled like mold and cigarettes even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking, the walls are so thin that any conversation a person in a neighboring room is having can be heard. And the only heat source was some kind of AC wall unit that literally started smoking when turned on. When I told the owner about the fire hazard he completely dismissed me and actually laughed at my concern. Do not stay here.”

“We stayed here when in Warrenton to care for a loved one. It was the perfect location between the hospital and town in a lovely quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chase was wonderful to work with and Mike (the owner) was very welcoming. Not only were we given bread, eggs, sausage at the beginning of our stay, we found some beautiful daffodils on our doorstep during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you!”

“This was exactly what we needed! We wanted to relax and slow down and we did. Lucky Star Farm is beautiful and an easy drive from the distillaries and downtown Culpeper. The house is immaculate and comfy. Shari and David are wonderful hosts! We learned a lot too! So fun. Would stay again!”
