beautifull house with nice swimming pool

house was pleasant, very clean. views from terras and swimming pool beautifull. lot of stairs if you, use your car you'll be in city centre in 5 minutes. if you like to walk know that you have to walk about 100m down and up again. and then like 30 minutes to old town. but down the hill are bakerys boucherie, restarants etc. contact with owner and with "congierge" was easy and quick.

It was everything as advertised. A heated pool would have been better and special lamps to zap the mosquitoes as an idea for future renters. Refrigerator with ice making capability was a huge surprise and the greatest, most appreciated, feature! (funny to say but true). No coffee drip machine but coffee percolators (discovery for most Americans). Good space for 6 of us! Will consider renting the same villa every year.

Cycling vacation along the Cote D'azure

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is walking distance to the beach. Many bars and restaurants to choose from. The house is somewhat dated, but very functional, a beautiful patio overlooking the med. The upper level has a pool, which was a little chilly in April but a great place to relax. The yard is expansive and you can walk all over finding new trees and flowers around each corner. If you enjoy spending your time quietly outside, this is a real gem. The kitchen was functional and worked considering we ate out most nights. The outdoor grill was underwhelming. Ride up the road to the Cole de Madone, Turn left to get to Turbie for coffee, or keep going to Sospel then on to Turini. Turn right to ride to Italy and finish in San Remo! The roads inland beautiful and such a pleasure to ride. Some even to the point of defying any logic.

Villa with a view

We had a lovely time in Simona's villa at the heights of Menton. There is a splendid view of the sea and Cap Martin from the terrace and the perfect pool. We really enjoyed the fact that there is no one overlooking the property and the large grounds. The rooms are spacious and there is also a safe off road carpark. The walk to town is about 10-15 minutes on a steep but well maintain and lit path. We never used the car during our stay, but got a lot of exercise...The villa is in a quiet area but not isolated and we felt very safe.We had our meals in the villa on the very big terrace around the huge table with seatings for more than 10 people and a nice addition is the nicely tuned piano. We can really recommend this villa and would love to come back.Patrik and family

Menton Villa

We stayed for 7 days with family. The pool was amazing especially for 3 boisterous young boys. The house itself was jaded but perfect in that we didn’t need to be too precious. The kitchen was small but adequate well stocked with crockery but no chopping board. Mr Lopez would come daily and remove the rubbish and was available if we were to need him. The owner was quick to respond to any queries. The biggest negative was the walk up and down to supermarket and restaurants. Very steep on the way back up in the heat. But a good workout. Not good for kids. On the whole it was perfect for us.

DAS BILD TÄUSCHT!! Altes HAUS, ALTE MÖBEL und es hat komisch nach feucht gerochen. Es gibt keinen Dusche sonst nur alte Badewannen. Das Wasser im Pool war ok. Wir sind früher nach Hause gefahren. Der Garten war gut.

Family gathering

We loved the space, the pool and fantastic views. House is in a quiet location and the opposite end of the town where the charming old part of the city is, night life and big beach. We walk there in the day and drove in the evenings. The small beaches just as you walked down were lovely and more quiet. Louis was the perfect host and easy to communicate with. It takes 10 min to walk down to Menton. Good exercise to walk up again. Air conditioning is quieter and works better on the ground and first floor. We all fell in love with Menton and would love to come back and stay there again.

L’emplacement et le site est parfait. La climatisation et la piscine ont été très appréciés en juillet. La terrasse est magnifique. On peut facilement se rendre à la plage à pied par un chemin piétonnier sécuritaire. On y a passé de très belles vacances.

Le charme d’une villa ancienne avec vue magique sur la baie de menton

Magnifiquement située cette villa ancienne possède un charme unique et jouit d’une vue à couper le souffle. Seul bémol: une bonne cure de nettoyage est nécessaire et peut être un petit coup de neuf côté rénovation. Les points positifs l’emportent Cependant largement. House with an amazing sea-view

We were very impressed by our stay in this house. The estate seems built well-thought-out a few decades ago. An amazing view from the terrace down the hill to Menton, Cap Martin and the sea is crucial and really luxury. The pool is located a few yards above the hill and allows to enjoy silent moments with the sea-view. Neighbours are far away and it cannot be guessed where the property ends. The piano was in tune and the air conditioning silent and effective.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil qui nous a été réservé sur place. Cette superbe villa nous a permis de vivre en harmonie avec toute notre famille grâce à l'espace et au confort qu'elle propose. La piscine et son entourage offre avec son décors de plantes et de fleurs un panorama très apprécié et un lieu de fraîcheur idyllique. La terrasse avec sa table ronde magique et sa vue imprenable fut très appréciée pour nos repas et nos soirées. Nous avons donc passé un excellent séjour.

Spacieux et familiale !

La villa est spacieuse et bien agencé. Le jardin la terrasse et la piscine sont les points forts du lieu ! La villa est facile d'accès et pas très loin de la mer et de la ville en voiture. Un gardien est présent de temps en temps pour veiller sur le bon fonctionnement de la location. La propriétaire est tres sympa.
