“Ainhoa was an amazing host who made us feel welcome immediately. Our room was clean and spacious. The patio is beautiful and a lovely place to enjoy the delicious breakfast. If you're looking for a guilt free place to be a tourist in Granada then we would highly recommend it.”

“Very warm and helpful staff. Breakfast is simple but just fit. It is a bit difficult to drive there but the hotel provided detailed route.”

“The way up by car is not for the faint hearted. Read the instructions clearly or you may come across serious problems. Once you get there, the parking is great. Hotel has an excellent location, and you can basically walk everywhere around the old part of town. Walking to Alhambra is doable but we took the bus and we were glad we did. Reception lady is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless with thick, fresh towels in the bathrooms. Great experience overall.”

“I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel……

“We had a very lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and tastefully designed- loved the space and the interiors. Even though it is located in a very central location, the soundproofing was done very well and we can't really hear the outside world once the windows were shut. Also management was very quick to respond and remote check-in was done super smoothly. Very comfortable and lovely stay and we highly recommend this charming apartment!”

“We loved our stay at this property in Granada. It was right in the center of town but a couple streets away from the noise. The property itself was beautiful and very clean. It was great for our family as our two daughters loved the twin beds. My husband and I love running so we jogged around the area every morning.”

“The room is a suite with a kitchen, nice and clean, and affordable. Staff is very nice. We arrived early due to train cancellation by Renfe. We were able to store one backpack there so we could start touring the city before checking in. High-end feeling for sure. Cleaning is offered upon request, but it is not clear if they would charge for that and what is the extra to pay. So try to keep the room tidy if you want to enjoy the whole stay. ”

“The staff Javier is very helpful. We check in earlier and can enjoy more time in Granada. The hotel location is very good. The 2-bedroom apartment is clean and living room is nice. Just a minor suggestion is to provide a chair in the room. ”

“This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain. The breakfast was “continental” with yogurt,……

“As located in the area of attractions, we could easily go anywhere from the hotel within a few minutes. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a precious old building. The staffs are nice. Especially Miss Emma is a young, helpful, enthusiastic and efficient lady. Our personal problems were solved with her great support. Thanks to her and her colleagues!”
