When we arrived for check-in, the gentleman at the front desk informed us they no longer had the room we booked (a 1-bedroom suite, as we were travelling with our toddler), and would instead be putting us in a “standard double queen room.” Upon our insistente, he was finally able to find something more suitable.
Our room (253) was clean enough, however the bed was very worn with an extremely large tear in it. The pull-out couch was at least twenty years old and just as worn. The curtains stained from water obviously leaking in through the windows.
The hotel, in general, was quite noisy.
A highlight for us was the overcrowded breakfast room, serving lukewarm hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage.
At checkout, the woman working the front desk was extremely inhospitable. And, to top it off, we were charged MORE for our stay than we were quoted.
Overall, the hotel was underwhelming, old, dingy, and noisy! The staff were not friendly. Would not stay again, and would not recommend.
