We did not actually stay at this property. I was notified that it was closing for renovations and our reservation would be honoured by another local hotel the Akra hotel. It was great. Staff helpful with all requests.

Bello ma trascurato

Appartamento spazioso, bello e confortevole ma la piscina e lo spazio intorno ad essa è molto trascurato. La pulizia degli appartamenti ottima ma quella della piscina era praticamente inesistente. Il posto è molto appartato e tranquillo quindi perfetto per chi vuole rilassarsi ma nello stesso tempo vicino a Monemvasia

We loved this place!

The location of the hotel was perfect! A five minute drive to Old Town and stunning beach views. The pool is huge, warm, and such a treat!

The pictures lied

Very nice pictures, so it was quite disappointing to see our room. Got a room on the ground floor, only 2m roof hight. The door made loud noises in the wind, which woke us up. Very cheap, so ok for a economical sleep-in.

Bon établissement. Accueil agréable et gérant à l’ecoute. Chambre spacieuse. La cuisine est bien équipée. La salle de bain est agréable (eau chaude matin et soir). En revanche, la piscine, mise à disposition pour la clientèle, n’est pas utilisée à bon escient (le nettoyage de celle-ci a été repoussé, chaque jour, mais n’a jamais été effectué)

οι φωτογραφίες του καταλύματος είναι παραπλανητικές.δεν υπάρχει καμία σχέση με αυτό που βλέπετε. το μέρος χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση. Το νερό δεν τρέχει με πίεση στο ντους. Βρήκαμε κατσαρίδα μέσα στην κουζίνα. Τα φίλτρα του κλιματιστικού ήταν λερωμένα.

Spacious apartment opposite the water

Our experience was really good. It was much better than expected. The room was clean and large. The apartment is 8 minutes away from Monemvasia. The staff was friendly. Thank you.

Location required a vehicle to get to nightlife in Monemvasia. Small beach nearby with taverna in walking distance. Beautiful view of water from balcony. Rocky beach in front but better access a short walk.

A pretty good alternative for your stay

Hotel needs renovation, but we got 2-bedroom apartment (with kitchenette and fridge) for very good price and we are happy with our stay. Parking next to the door, pool and the sea accross the road. Monemvasia castle is about 5-6 km, Athos tavern in Agios Ioannis where we took excellent dinner for very fair price - another 5-6 km. A good alternative if you prefer privacy but not rush of tourist town.

Exactly as advertised

a great bargain, sparse but adequate furnishings, check-in & check-out were straight-foward and easy with caretaker on premises, did not use hotel swimming pool as it was mid-winter but easy access to very small beach, (again, made smaller by natural mid-winter weather patterns).
