Almost Heaven is a home with tons of charm! This well appointed 3+ bedroom waterfront home is very private. Surrounded by nature, with the lake on one side and woods on the other, it offers the feeling of being secluded, yet is within minutes of everything Smith Mountain Lake has to offer!

When stepping in the front door you will be greeted by a large, spacious living room. You will feel like it`s a home away from home and the perfect space for a family gathering. While relaxing in the coziness of the plush furniture, your backdrop will be of lake and wilderness views from all the windows along the water side of the house in the living room, dining room and kitchen with deck adjacent. You will surely enjoy the glow from the wood-burning stone fireplace, making for a picture-perfect setting for a cozy evening at home.

This home has a fully-equipped kitchen which makes cooking for your group a breeze. Instead of dealing with the hassle of dining out at a restaurant delight the family with their favorite dish. With access to the gas grill just steps away on the deck, cooking up your days catch will be a snap.

The main level master suite has a King bed, and private access to the deck. After a busy day on the lake, you can take a soothing soak in the oversized tub ( yes, there is a shower in there too) before retiring for the evening. Two more bedrooms fill out the main level: a Queen bed in one and a pyramid bunkbed (twin over full) in the other.

Head on to the lower level which is the entertainment hub of this home. The family can challenge each other in a friendly ping pong tournament! While you are waiting for your turn to play, you can enjoy a game of foosball, watch your favorite show on the TV or just lounge on the sofa and read a book. No matter what, there is plenty to keep the children occupied! There is also an extra sleeping space on this level with a Queen bed.

One of the best features about this vacation home is its private dock, which provides year-round access to the lake. You can be swimming, fishing, or cruising on your boat within minutes of leaving your door! You’ll feel like you’re the only ones on the lake.

House Rules for Your Stay

Responsible Renter: You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Proof of age may be requested. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under this age.

Occupancy Limit: The property is strictly limited to the number of guests specified in your reservation, as listed in the house advertisement (ages 2 and above). This maximum occupancy cannot be adjusted. Exceeding this limit is a breach of contract and may result in immediate eviction.

Pets Policy: Only dogs are allowed in approved pet-friendly homes with a paid fee. All pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Emotional support animals are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing with a fee.

No Parties or Events: The property is for residential use only. Parties, events, or loud gatherings are not permitted and may result in immediate eviction.

Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM. Respect the neighbors’ right to quiet enjoyment.

Trash Disposal: Guests must remove all trash upon departure and dispose of it in the designated facility. The cleaning fee covers routine cleaning only and does not include additional cleanup.

Property Respect and Maintenance: Report any maintenance needs immediately to ensure a prompt resolution. Treat the home as your own; any damages or excessive mess may result in additional charges. Please return all furnishings to their original positions upon checkout.

Follow Local Regulations: Abide by all local laws and regulations. No parking on lawns or adjacent properties; please respect all parking restrictions.

Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. Keep emergency contact information accessible during your stay.

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Please use designated outdoor areas for smoking and dispose of all cigarette waste properly.
